This space was very clean and safe! We were very happy with our stay and can’t wait to come back! Thank you for hospitality!

Filthy Black mold and full of dust in air vents, cobwebs, dead bugs in lamps and could not open bedroom window. Wanted us to use the fan in the window which was dirty to circulate mold spores in air. Spouse has COPD had to use the rescue inhaler at night. Had to go to Walmart nearby to purchase our own bedsheets, pillows and comforter as well as cleaning supplies. To top things off there were poop smears in the toilet when we first got there- had to clean that (nice intro to vacation). Nice head dress in the living room- you should dust it it looks brown instead of a vibrant pure that it should be. Just a recommendation to D&D- don't put the dust pan with remnants of hair and dirt next to the coffee maker. And get a new mattress it was like getting folded up in a taco. We stayed the night on our own sheets and I. The morning we went to a hotel. Thank goodness we took pictures to back up our experience. Please spare me the "it says to call before 10:30 to rectify any problems", the only way you could of rectified the issues was a cleaning service by a professional with full disinfectants and an air duct clean out. All air vents should be OPERABLE. No excuses.

The property is as advertised. I use it because I have family in the area. I will use it again when in town. Nice Neighborhood.

Well organized, safe neighborhood

Great communication with owner but no early check in

The hosts were great in communication. The area was so peaceful at night so if you are looking for a good place to get away from the noice of new orleans after your trip this is the place. The was a Wal-Mart right arou d the corner and plenty of food options comparable to new orleans.

Dee & Dino were prompt & accommodating in responding to our questions. We especially enjoyed the Mardí Grás decorations & city info! The location was convenient to the airport and I-10, just a quick drive to Loyola U. and the French Quarter+ + + + +

Dee is absolutely wonderful! Communication is exceptional [she even checked on us midway through our stay to see if we needed anything]! When we arrived there was a sheet of paper with not just information in regards to the cottage but a list of places to eat, things to do and how far they are from our location [she even left candy, which we ate immediately...starving].🥰 The cottage is clean, quaint and exactly as described in her post. Would highly recommend and definitely would stay there again. Price was exceptional and yoi get WAY MORE than what you pay for. Absolutely perfect in every way!! Thank you!!

We needed an affordable place to stay for the night. We found the price and the home to fit our needs. We enjoyed the nice decor and attention to detail. The home had all we needed for a comfrtable stay. The owners were very accommodating as we were getting in late. I would recommend and stay again.

Location is prime for folks looking for a relaxing pace. Highway proximity made it as easy to travel to nature and also to city in under 20 minutes. BnB itself is quaint and well-appointed in a very chill area. Close to shops which was great for picking up little forgotten things. A lovely BnB in a prime location.

This was our first trip to New Orleans and it was a blast. For the price and location, you probably won't beat what you get staying here. It was quiet and had easy access to the airport. We liked our stay and most our expectations were met. There was a slight issue with a sleeping arrangements the first night, but the hosts were easy to work with and quickly resolved the issue - even though they were out of town.

I enjoyed my short time here. Getting to and forth around the city is very easy and the location is very close to the airport, so you avoid higher than usual Uber/Lyft costs when traveling back home or to your next destination.

We really enjoyed our stay, very quiet neighborhood. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

First, let me say that going into the rental I had read the reviews and understood that this was not a large area, and that the rental was attached to the owners home. The pictures listed are accurate. I'll start with the positives: The sofa was actually comfortable to sleep on as was the bed (although they both squeaked any time you moved). The neighborhood felt safe, and I wasn't concerned about walking our dog late at night. The refrigerator is a decent size. It is a quick drive to the airport and there is a Walmart close by. Now the negatives: My biggest complaint is that the rooms were heated by two space heaters which in itself I don't have a huge problem with, but I do have a problem that there wasn't a smoke alarm or a fire extinguisher in the rental. This was especially concerning given the fact that the window in the bedroom had a window A/C in it, so there was only one way out of the property which was the door at the other end. I actually couldn't believe that it's not a requirement for VRBO to be able to list a rental property. Second, the wooden legs of the headboard were covered solid with mildew. This is no exaggeration. If this is cleaned by someone who is certified by the CDC as the owner stated in one of his responses to an earlier review then that person needs to be fired. Third, the shower is probably 30" square, about 6 foot high, and smelled like mildew. Thankfully we all showered before leaving my house and we only stayed for one night, so we didn't need to use it. Fourth, there is only the lock that you turn on the handle to lock the room (which I could pop open in about 5 seconds with a credit card). There needs to be a dead bolt or at least a sliding lock on the door. Thankfully we were just staying overnight and weren't leaving anything of value in the rental for the day. My last issue was that you could hear the owner talking way past eleven o'clock (I don't know if he was arguing or if his voice just carries), but it was very annoying . I fell asleep around eleven, but my wife couldn't. Additionally, when they took a shower and flushed the toilet it was very noticeable in the rental. Thin walls? To answer his response in advance...No I did not call him and let them know of my issues. I felt that if he was concerned about possible negative comments that with the exception of the shower size then these issues would have been addressed prior to our arrival. Especially the smoke detector!

Helpful host, cute place, cute decorations. Not super clean. A coffee maker, but no coffee.

The apartment is fully NOLA style, with cute decor and a great little courtyard. We appreciated the frig / microwave, and quiet neighborhood. You could hear the TV from the attached home, while pretty clean it wasn't spotless, and a single towel for us each which may bother some. Dee was very accomodating, and we especially appreciated allowing pets. Thanks for a great trip!
