Hotel Clemons

Fun and eclectic vibe! The facility was well maintained and comfortable. The staff were super friendly and helpful.

We do have a couple complaints. The bed frame of the king sized bed was ill fitting and dangerous. It had very sharp corners, which while marked with caution tape, were still a hazard especially when trying to get into the far side. I highly recommend they find a safer frame for these beds. One that’s not so low to the ground would be nice as well. It would be difficult for older people to get in and out of the current beds as well. And the other complaint is how the noise in the hallways radiates into the room. In the morning specifically, every word spoken outside the room was amplified into the unit. It was odd as if the unit wasn’t closed up over the front door. There were apparently several families with small children who woke early and were out in the hallways. Their talking woke me up every single morning which to say the least we found annoying. But other than these two issues everything else was pretty great.

Easy to find. Big comfortable apartment room. Hotel has good ‘Banksy’ decor. Room had a great kitchen area. Coffee shops nearby. Easy to get to the city by using the free city shuttle bus. Car parking nearby.

Cafe in the hotel was very limited. Bar shut quite early.

Retro feel

Parking was a bit of a pain

The staff was able to work some magic so that we could stay another night after our scheduling snafu. Very appreciated.

There were some noisy neighbors.
