The hotel is in the middle of the jungle, so the view is breathtaking and the environment is nice.
We really liked our room, its size was okay, the bed was comfortable, the huge windows looked at the pool (and at the jungle behind it).
The staff was really helpful and super kind ❤️
The infinity pool was beautiful, and in the common area, there were a lot of books that we could read.
The infused water was such a plus!
The door of the room could not be closed properly, so the gecos had entry into our room, which made me scared at first but then I got used to it over time.
The bathroom had wooden floor, which was probably very cool, right after installation, but it looks very used now.

The place is lovely and the staff are welcoming and helpful. The pool is lovely and having room options with a semi-private pool are great too.
Feels like a secret escape hiden off of a busy street. Being surrounded by jungle forest gives a feeling of being close to nature and away from the hustle and bustle of the town.
The place is clearly a little run down, but they are working on updating it over time. The water pressure drops if too many people are using the shower at the same time. You can test the shower by checking the sink tap first to see if there is any pressure. But the gorgeous views and atmosphere of eating breakfast or sitting around the pool surrounded by nature eclipse the old parts.
The saltwater pool was not saltwater anymore which was a shame as I cannot use chlorine pools and this was a main selling point to me.

The Pari Sudha is an independently run hotel overlooking the jungle and located on the road which connects Ubud to the world famous rice paddies.
The staff are really helpful, and the facilities surprisingly good for the size of the hotel. The hotel is seeking to provide boutique style accommodation you'd expect from some of the major international 4*+ hotels on the western side of Ubud, but a price point WAY below what these hotels charge.
The hotel rooms (8 rooms or 16 beds) in total are set around the original shared pool and private pool. Only the lower two rooms can use this 'private pool. However, the hotel has recently added a much bigger third pool - yes, 2 pools for 16 guests!) and this additional area includes the breakfast dining, spa/treatment rooms and other lounge/refreshments options. Plenty of space to use sun loungers etc.
The outlook in onto jungle, The staff were really friendly, helpful and trying hard to please.
This is a great value place to stay for a few days as a base to explore local culture and food and have the facilities of a great pool and good rooms (a/c was great and beds really comfortable). Remember that the rooms are in the middle of a jungle (which is lush and green), and given the bathrooms are designed to be semi-outdoors, you might see the odd gekko or two!
The hotel is set into the side of the jungle valley, so expect to walk up and down a few steps if you are in the rooms lower down (but you get your own private pool!). At night you feel like you have a luxury hotel all to your self, with the pool being the best feature!
Now, this hotel is easy to find at first. But it does come up on Grab and most local taxis will find it. It is also part of the LOCAL community, set away from the road noise etc in the jungle. Getting to the hotel is a short walk from the road (75 yds maybe max, on a paved footpath which is not issue with suitcases etc, and the staff are there to help too. A taxi into Ubud (we used Grab) cost very little (a few $ max) and really easy. Walking is an option, but up hill on way home!

The photos of the property doesn’t do it justice. There is small some wear and tear in parts, but for the amount you’re paying its absolute paradise. couldn’t explain how amazing with a view is.
There’s nothing that we as a group didn’t like

The view directly on the jungle, from everywhere in the resort and also from my room, was really amazing. There was a really nice shower gel from Sensatia, really pleasant to use (although bottle almost empty). Staff nice and in the room there were bottles of water and electricity adapter.
Location in the jungle is nice, but very remote from city center and any restaurant or bar and complimentary shuttle not working regularly. I was told to call a driver (however in the end the staff was nice though to give me an exceptional drive).
No possibility to eat anything in the hotel, except for breakfast. They told me to order delivery food.
The room needed a deep clean, bed linen with stains, white pillowcases yellowish, insects net dirty, only one big light working. For one night I didn’t even report it, but very bad for the hotel category and the price. In the early morning it was very noisy because people arriving by motorbike and meeting each other below my balcony.

the best breakfast ive had in bali the two months i have been here. the staff was so sweet even when i wasnt feeling well they offered to get my food delivery for me and bring it to my room. the view was so stunning and the sounds of nature.
just that there wasnt a lot a space with grass - only a large balcony and pool area. id prefer grass and for it to not be so close to a main road. but you cant hear the road, so its only a preference

The hotel was beautiful but we thought we rented the one with a private pool. That was the only reason we chose this hotel but then when we got there apparently it was not booked, it was a bit confusing and we ended up staying in another room. A bit disappointed

the staff are very nice and the area is nice if you don’t mind staying far away from centre. beautiful gardens
the room was very dirty, bathroom was really bad and needed a deep clean. advertised as 4 star but definitely isn’t, couldn’t order any drinks or snacks, was told we had a free shuttle but then got there and they said they didn’t and also couldn’t call us drivers to get into centre. not worth the high price.

Lobby view is beautiful.
The staff are very nice.
The lobby is about 200 meters from the main road.
There was no lunch or dinner available in the hotel. There was no restaurant outside the hotel.
Room was smelly. Might be because the moisture and wooden floor.
Room was dirty. Bed linen had brown stains and small blood stain. Insects everywhere, however it is acceptable as the hotel is in the jungle. Path to Bath Room had mold on the wall. Toilet seat, tap, shower screen were dirty.

Liked the size of the room and the view of the balcony. The pool area was nice and the reception was super nice
The bathroom needs to get renovated - the area around the hotel and the premises close to the temple could look nicer - should at least throw the rubbish away - I mean if you are a 4 star hotel you should also go a bit after the surroundings. The internet was switching on and off most of the time and we could hear the employees in the morning since the parking spot was close to our room. Breakfast was very poor - you somehow didnt feel the love in the place although everything was according to the book. Location wise it is mieh - nothing much around so you definitely need a scooter to move around. Although we left earlier - due to friends coming over - we had a super smooth check out!

New renovations look amazing and the staff were lovely and welcoming.
Lizards had open access to room via bathroom ceiling being open. I love a cute lizard just not in my room.

The location is perfect. Service is amazing. With the price you have paid, it's already more than enough.
We understand that due to pandemic, a small business accommodation like them is really suffer financially. People should understand it and shouldn't be mean. I saw many foreigners are blaming them for many things that I found illogical. It's a jungle and it's common to see insects and lizards around. They aren't harmful at all.

lacked a bit of attention & love.
Breakfast was not great

The room was nice and clean and the bed was big and comfortable. We also had a mosquito net, but we didn't have to use it.
The location is good, in the middle of the jungle, but a little far from Ubud centre.
Every day we had to leave very early in the morning and they arranged take-away breakfasts for us.
The soundproofing could use an improvement, we could hear our neighbours very clearly from our room.
We didn't mind the geckos in our room and bathroom, but if you don't like small animals and insects in your room, you should look elsewhere.

it has a beautiful view. A lot of trees and good swimming pool
Rooms are a quite old. They need to improve them or make prices lower. We found hotel near that one and it has better rooms, good view and price is lower. So I think they need to make an update or make price lower.
