Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I’ll start by saying I love this building and Bender Realty. The location and proximity to the beach is amazing. The people at Bender are amazing. I’ve stayed at other units in this building it is an older building, the units are older units and usually dated units. We immediately noticed the ceiling fans were dusty like really dusty. There was dried jam still on the kitchen table. I can’t even explain what is going on with the ceilings in bathrooms and kitchen but I spent a hour making sure there weren’t hidden cameras. This unit was just not cleaned properly. It was “dated” as we expected but there was a tub that never drained properly. The hot water lasted 10 mins max in shower. The beds were probably the worst I’ve ever seen in a rental. Good thing we aren’t TV people. We never cook at rentals but I’m sure the Goodwill/2nd hand thrift few items that were in the kitchen would have sufficed. On the plus side lots or drawer space to put your items and amazing views. Great pool and beach access. Don’t rent 1B there are nicer units in this building at same or close to same rate.

We had to wait hours past the actual check-in time that was given on the VRBO app. The unit was not clean even though that was the reason given for the longer than normal check-in. The unit is very outdated.

The entire condo was under construction when we went. It didn't feel safe in the halls or the condo itself. The location was awesome, the pool was great, and the ocean is just on the other side of the pool. Once the construction is done, this should be a really nice stay. We were disappointed in the construction and how dated everything was.

It has the best ocean side pool and largest pool deck that we could find. Even when full it rarely feels crowded. The building has been undergoing renovation and these are good but taking far too long. Only one elevator has been available of the two on our last 3-4 visits. Also 1C is my wife and my favorite unit when we come by ourselves or with kids but we’re beginning to tire of some of its shortcomings. The bathroom ceiling tiles have been missing forever. There’s no dishwasher or laundry but we’ve been able to overlook those two issues for the quaint ambiance and the price we get. However, for a beach vaca place to stay, one could expect more towel racks! There’s plenty of places yet 1C only has one !!! Ridiculous! Even the second sink, which is a nice touch, has no rack. This may seem minor but draping damp towels over furniture and wherever possible sucks! It makes you notice other minor issues like sliding glass doors that stick and ceiling fan on awesome balcony that doesn’t allow fan to run without light being on. Very annoying when you want to sit out at night without having every movement viewable from the beach. Lastly, the key fob required to get into the pool area from building and beach is the worst!!! Only one fob per unit and takes to hands to open. Pitiful for beach goers especially with small grandchildren. All things easy to fix if owners have a hoot. Bender is GREAT to work with so owners will be to blame if we go elsewhere.

Great location, great layout of house and enjoyed the enclosed double glass sliding doors of the balcony. There also had a dining table where we ate all our dinners! A rocking chair where l sat and watched kids play on the beach. Best part for me! Wished we could walk out to the beach from the house instead of taking back stairs. When l booked the listing said "new renovated... pictures coming soon" but it looks like they upgrades furniture but the carpet NEEDS to go. It stunk from the "tried to clean" when we arrived and it felt dirty stepping on it mostly due to the humidity or wetness. That was my one big dislike...l do not like smelly carpets. Told the agent and she had someone come spray it with vinegar. That helped a bit but l literally keep the sliding doors open and fans running all day long till close to midnight. It's hard to keep carpet clean in my own house...l would imagine even harder in a "beach wet vacation house"! For the check-in process - it was ok but we arrived around 11pm instead of asking us to pass by the office to collect keys. I wish the agent could put a lockbox at the house...give us code and we go straight to the house and open lockbox...get keys and at departure put keys in lockbox and back on door and leave. We loved the available kitchen stuff since we made all our meals. And enjoyed the pool areas....nice & clean. So overall we enjoyed the place and our time there!

The building and pool are much closer to the beach/gulf than other places we've stayed, which made walking out to the beach much easier. We were disappointed in the condition and amenities of the condo. It's in need of some maintenance overall. The second bedroom doesn't have a tv and the main bedroom tv doesn't have a remote. Since we didn't come to the beach for tv, we were fine without that. However, I could see this being a disappointment for future renters. The master bath shower head was broken and the faucet in the main bath was running nonstop when we arrived. We called Bender and they took care of the issues with the showers as soon as possible. The staff at Bender are always friendly and helpful! We really liked that the balcony was enclosed with doors. The condo was spacious and had plenty of dishes, silverware, etc.
