Easy to access. Beautiful modern building. Very clean and provided everything.

Way to hot in the room, it was 24.5 Celsius. The doors slamming shut also was loud and irritating. Street was very loud. Barely got any sleep.

The apartment was situated literally, on The Royal Mile. We were pleasantly awakened to a regiment of bagpipers our first morning (we slept in --so it wasn't too early). We had a 5 min walk to St. Giles and maybe a 10-15 min walk to Edinburgh Castle. The apartment was in perfect shape and very recently updated because everything seemed brand new. Everything was wonderful, very clean and very comfortable. Also, very spacious. We loved staying there and just wish could have stayed a little longer.

The heating wasn’t working properly and a boiler noise would come on in the middle of the night and wake us up

We’ve stayed in Destiny Scotland properties before - always excellent. Royal Mile location wasn’t for us as much as others - very busy 24/7, but that was our poor choice.

Because it’s on the main high street it’s very noisy in the morning and evening and kept us up

Very convenient location. Easy access with passcode. Comfortable clean apartment with nice toiletries and kitchen ware provided.

Will be good to have door stopper for the rooms. One bath towel that was provided had a big hole, shouldn’t have been provided.

The fan didn't work in one of the bathrooms. Not a big problem but it had caused a bit of mold on the window and we had to open the bedroom windows to get rid of the steam. Bathroom window did not open.
