Galata Times Hotel

The Galata Times Hotel is close to a lot of tourist attractions and public transport. You are 1-2min away from the metro, a 2-3 min walk from the Galata Tower and the street, and about 5 min walk to the water. Very convenient place to stay. Breakfast was great and versatile. Walking to the Sultahnmet side is also not that far, about 40-45min to the Blue mosque and Hagia Sofia. The hotel transfer was also great. Pick up and drop of was on time on both travel days to and from the airpiort.

The room could have been cleaner. Our room was only cleaned on our second last day. The first two days we were there it was not cleaned. Sugar was not replenished in the room, the cups were also not cleaned properly when we were there. The balcony was not cleaned, the chairs and table on the balcony had a lot of build up dust. The carpet was also not clean next to the side tables. The door handle to the bathroom was loose and actually came out, we tried to tell the guy at the reception but he moved on to speak to the other Turkish people that came behind us. Eventually after waiting for some time, we just decided to leave. We put the handle on the floor so that when the cleaners came they can see it, but they just put it back on the door and did not fix it. Overall the say was okay, but they could do better with customer service.

A fantastic stay from start to finish. The room was modern, clean, and comfortable, and the location couldn't be beaten — just a short walk to Galata Tower. Breakfast was a real standout: delicious spread with a stunning view of the tower to go with it. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to be right in the heart of it all. Would gladly return.

Great location, clean rooms, a very memorable breakfast with a great view, and super friendly staff. We took up the option of the organised shuttle back and forth which was well organised.

The staff was outstanding. The location is great - just acros Sishane Metro station and on the street to Galata Tower. Also, the view from th breakfast restaurant is very nice (to Galata tower and to the Bosphurus).

The room was tiny, and the balcony was small. Not enough room for two people. The view from the small balcony is to a wall with pipes. Also, the room, and carpet was not that clean.
