Room only in this hotel was decent size considering the amount paid.

Disastrous and hideous stay in Hotel Paris in Opatija from 31.07 - 04.08.2023 upon our arrival we have been greeted by owner who told us that there were no available parking spaces in the garage and the alternative parking spaces were available, also belong to hotel. We have extra booked a hotel with garage space which they guaranteed us while speaking to us via phone days before our arrival. However, the owner insisted that we park behind hotel, little narrow alley presumably for the delivery (walking delivery not truck). There were cars parked, based on the one lane street, where you could barely walk least park your car. After hesitation, the owner of the hotel managed to convince us to park there, it took us well over 20minutes to park. Around the car were garbage bins, dozens of drink bottles not appropriately placed. We have taken numerous pictures in case of damage. Each day we have been called from the hotel reception on our private phone (some days that were early in the morning, some whilst on the beach) to move our car because other guests had to leave. We were assured from the owner that that would no one disturbed us because we are on the holiday. Another poor attempt of lying from the owners side. Each day we had to move the car, this process took from 20-45minutes of time. We wanted to leave the first day however we have paid the hotel via booking in advance and had no alternative but to stay. The staff started to argue with us, why we do not leave car keys to them, where we said it is our car, and we paid for the parking (definition and the meaning of parking is to park it safely, not having to remove your car daily). The staff were not helpful, unfriendly, arrogant, ignorant.

Location and really great breakfast (except machine coffee).

If there is a third bed, the room is really tight, the wifi signal is not working, we would appreciate a kettle in the family room.

Nice room with sea view, great reception staff. Good prices in the restaurant if you are a sea food fan.

The air conditioner was not working in our room, but we had o portable one installed, and the window had to be open a little for the evacuation. The staff offered to change the room the second day, as when we arrived the hotel was full.

Parking was a bit crowded and also hard to find. Cars are parked extremely close to each other.

Parking is very expensive

Very friendly staff and great food, breakfast as well as dinner. From check-in to check-out everything went smoothly, a very pleasant experience. The room was nice, clean and spacious.

Great choice of fruits, cereals, hot and cold food. Good coffee machine.

We honestly could not fault anything about this fairly new renovated hotel.

Smell of cigarete smoke from a casino in a restaurant, lobby area and kids corner. Lot of things can be improved in this property. Poor housekeeping (mold in shower), poor breakfast and overall service in the hotel. Lack of staff in bar / restaurant. Reception staff is exception - they are all polite, nice and very professional. Rooms - basic and quite small, but ok. No tea/coffee making facilities.

An excellent buffet for breakfest and dinner. The location could not be better, the entrance looks directly to the door of the English park.
