We went to renew our vows for our 40th anniversary. We did it on the top balcony which was absolutely perfect

This beautiful home had everything for a perfect four day vacation with friends! The views were breathtaking and the golf cart made it easy to navigate the hill! The big screen TV in the great room made it the perfect place to watch football.
We all appreciated the 3 bedrooms each having their very nice separate bathrooms! The spacious kitchen had everything to made it the perfect place! Thank you, Jan and Matt!

The house is beautiful and the views are amazing. Better in person than the pics online. We were a family of 5 and the 3 well appointed rooms and ensuite bathrooms worked out perfectly for us. We did not need the bunks in the laundry room. I think those are more suitable for kids.
We were visiting Avalon for a wedding and would have loved to spend more time just relaxing at the house but enjoyed every minute we were able to take in the views from the roof top deck and the main deck patio too. Jan was very responsive to our questions before we arrived and accommodated our scheduling needs. We appreciated that so much. We look forward to staying again. The golf cart was a bonus even though it only seated 4 of us at a time....it was all good! Thank you Jan!!!

The pictures and description on VRBO doesn’t do this place justice! The views are incredible, the amenities are amazing, the beds are extremely comfortable, and the golf cart is a major plus! The host was extremely thorough during the check-in process as well. My family and I will definitely be staying here the next time we visit Catalina!!!

This is a very beautiful home with plenty of space and great views. It was great having the golf cart. Made quick trips to town, shopping, and sightseeing a lot easier. Hiking up the hill is a challenge otherwise. Would definitely like to return!!!

We celebrated our 40th anniversary and our 2 adult children, their spouses and 2 grandchildren joined (2 1/2 and 4 months). It was a splurge for us and definitely worth it.
It was perfect for 3 couples…3 bedrooms (2 K’s, 1 Q) each with own bathroom and temp control. Absolutely breathtaking views from 3 different decks and from big open living area too. We did a family photo on top deck as sun setting (good lighting) with Pacific Ocean in the background. We had a toddler, so just need to closely watch exploring/climbing type toddlers on all decks. It worked out fine.
it also comes with a golf cart, which was a godsend! Most destinations walkable, but home is up a pretty steep hill, so for those that might struggle with walking uphill, the cart is a gift! Also helps with transporting bags of groceries, even luggage!
Hosts/owners friendly, kind, helpful, responsive. Highly recommend.

We had an absolutely delightful visit to this home in Avalon. Jan and Matt were great hosts, any product that was running low was replaced immediately. The 3 outdoor areas are private and lovely. You can watch the sun rise or set, walk into town or take the electric golf cart. Groceries and lots of restaurants close by too. We’ll be back for sure.

The owners of this property were simply amazing and went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was memorable. The house is stunningly beautiful and to be honest I'm surprised they even rent it out. I would highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a memorable weekend at Catalina island.

This house was the most beautiful place we have ever stayed at. We came to Catalina for my daughter’s wedding. The pictures of this place does not do it justice, it is a gorgeous place and the views were just beautiful. We will definitely stay again.

This beautiful property gives you views for days from every viewpoint. The wonderful open floor plan flowed and everyone had a comfortable space. A nicely stocked kitchen made cooking easy and fun. The real bonus was having access to the golf cart as it was needed for groceries and moving up and down the hill for many of us. The hosts were excellent and this was one off the best properties I have ever rented. The roof deck views could not be beat! We have all taken away very fond memories from this stay.

We stayed on Catalina for our 30 year anniversary with the kids and grandchild. The house was fantastic, everything as advertised and more. Jan and Mike were very nice hosts. The kids loved it especially the view from the top deck, hope to be back at some point.

Don't miss out on your chance to stay at this property when visiting Catalina Island. Jan was a great host, and the check-in/check-out process was seamless. We spent every night on the multiple decks, all with incredible views of Avalon Bay. The property's golf cart made grabbing groceries and exploring the island a breeze. We will be coming back to stay in the future!

We came to stay because of the annual Art Deco Avalon Ball. The host was gracious to allow us an earlier check in and an extra hour for check out to accommodate our schedule. Loved all the details, so spacious and so many outdoor terrace to unwind and take in the view! Truly wish we had more time to just stay in and enjoy the home!
The only downside was its location on a steep one-way hill street. Not really easy to walk especially if you’re all dressed up and in heels. There was a 4-person golf cart we can use, love that it’s electrical. But it means we need to take 2 trips to get the 6 of us around town.

Our daughter had her wedding at Descanso Beach Club so we had guest come to the island from as far away as London and as close as LA.
Staying in this house with our immediate family of 5 made the trip so relaxing. The bridesmaids got ready before the wedding at the house which was perfect. We hope to return to Catalina in the future and would love to stay at this house again. Best views of the island.

This property is absolutely amazing, the many decks provides fantastic views and areas for enjoying time together. The check in and check out was easy and super accommodating for any extra requests. The house is just beautifully decorated and inviting. Highly recommend!

Fantastic property a quick walk up the hill from Avalon. There’s a great attention to detail within the home and the history is great! The balconies are amazing and very well appointed. Jan was a fantastic host and I would recommend to all!

We arrived many hours before check-in and were surprised to find the property ready and Jan even helped get us set up with a highchair for the baby. The place is every bit as amazing as the photos and SO well stocked too! Jan was exceptionally responsive and helpful. You will not regret a stay here!

This was the second time that our family have stayed at this beautiful home for Thanksgiving. The saying " the pictures don't so it justice" is an understatement for this residence.
The home has everything that you could want for your stay from a gourmet kitchen to a rooftop viewing deck (with the most amazing views).
It is a hike from Crescent St. to the home but the golf cart eliminated that problem.
We enjoyed our stay so much that we are booked for next Thanksgiving!

Our group of 6 thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. It’s perfectly appointed, so comfortable and the architecture and design are so unique and gorgeous. The chefs kitchen is a dream.
The biggest challenge will be choosing which of the various decks and patios you want to relax on. So many comfortable options and all of the views are incredible. What a privilege to stay here. Thanks Jan for your rapid responsiveness. Can’t wait to return.

Perfect home for 3 couples, everyone loved the suites, balconies, and stunning views! Kitchen is extremely spacious and the open floor plan on the main level was great for entertaining.
