Good and nice location in Berlin with fair pricing (rate was 65€/night). The room was clean enough and the check-in was easy and worked well also in the night.

Mold in the joints of the wall of the bath and no air-conditioning even in the summer the room got really hot (around 30°C). Also no refrigerator.

Room would have been great for a single room, but not broad enough for a double bed, it felt narrow.

Central location, quiet area, just the right facilities

No lift and was staying on 4th floor, Reception had limited opening hours and the neighbours that share the out of hours entrance aren't very friendly, the staff aren't approachable, the shower doesn't drain efficiently and nearly overflowed, we asked for fresh towels and toilet paper on day 4 and they were provided on day 5, the rooms weren't cleaned or tidied at all during our 7 day stay

I liked the staff and that the room was ready prior check in time so we could check in early. It was really close to a huge mall and train station only a few minutes walk

Very good location, close to U- and S-bahn stations and tram stop literally in front of the hotel. S-bahn from the airport (S9) stops there. Grocery store another side of the road. Mall next to stations and not far from the East Side Gallery either. Kitchen with proper fridge huuuge plus! Loved high ceiling also. Many places to eat nearby.

Hotel looks a bit rough from the outside, but don't be scared, it's really nice from the inside. Had small problems with cold water pressure and flushing the toilet, but it's character of the old building I guess and have seen worse in the UK. One morning woke up when shower started to leak a bit, probably someone else was taking a shower. Traffic can be a bit loud even with closed window (experience from the 1st floor), but still slept like a baby. You might pay attention to it though, if you are bad sleeper. There is no elevator, but that's also a thing I'm used to with old buildings, but might need to keep that on mind. There is no AC, small fan might be good add to the rooms. A bit dust on the nightstands, cleaner probably have made beds after cleaning them. Thick dust falled off from the darkening curtains while closing them first time, those might need a proper wiggle. Door stopper could be placed on the wall instead of floor, my toes had many painful meetings with it during the week. Had to put some socks on it as I always forgot it and didn't wanna break any toes.

Excellent location, quiet rooms, enough bathrooms as space. Safe place, quiet part of the neighbourhood, good communication with transport, excellent location for bars, restaurants, bio and vegan places.

Corporate visitors: Hotel Goldmarie provides a wrong invoices! I booked this hotel with a company credit card, and since it was a near last hour reservation, Booking.com gave me a discount. I paid immediately at checkout. I then asked Goldmarie to send us an invoice, they sent the wrong invoice with the wrong amount (full amount without the discount). Obviously, this invoice could not be accepted by the accounting laws/state revenue service. I contacted Booking.com and Goldmarie Hotel several times: Booking.com said they don't produce invoices and Goldmarie said they cannot provide the correct invoice because of (many different reasons here). I am very disappointed with this kind of corporate customer service from Hotel Goldmarie.

Nice, clean and quiet hotel. The staff were friendly. I was pleasantly surprised by the presence of a minibar and a microwave. The hotel doesn't really have an elevator, which I didn't mind.

In my opinion, the hotel has too limited check-in time, but they offer online check-in. They have real feather pillows, which was not a pleasant discovery for someone with allergies.

Location was really close to main attractions and metro

Mattress really old and uncomfortable. Noisily during the day difficult to sleep over if you want to sleep till late.

The location of the hotel is perfect, there are lots of options for dining nearby. The room was small but comfortable featuring everything needed for a proper stay.

Mind that there are no elevator.
