The NICI New Forest

Room was not fully renovated/finished. Especially bathroom. Loud banging of doors reverberated through room. Bed linen was clean but was obviously brand new and had never been laundered. You could tell by the strong smell.

We had a lovely spa day with dinner and an over night stay at the nici lymington to celebrate my 40th birthday. From the minute we drove into the carpark we loved it. The building is beautiful the grounds are stunning and the place is modern with great decor. The staff were all very friendly. The weather was sunny so we sat outside Elms for drinks on arrival and returned in the evening for dinner and drinks. The complimentry cocktail was delicious as was the food we ordered. The spa was very clean and plenty of beds and seating in every area. We were even lucky enough to spend some of the evening at the outside pool. We felt like we could be anywhere in the world.We went for a garden view bedroom which was lovely. The bed was huge and comfortable and the facilitys were clean and well thought out, we sleot really well. The variety of food available for breakfast was something else. So much to choose from. My partner had a cooked breakfast where as i went for continental which did not disapoint. We then spent afew hours in the spa area again with a smoothie in the bar area before heading home. We have recommended to friends and will definately be returning again.

There was nothing to complain about. Genuinely one of the nicest hotels , spas and resturants weve ever stayed at. Everything was relaxed and went smoothly.

We stayed in the dated apartments, We knew this upon booking. Views were stunning , large and airy rooms and good kitchen area. Balcony was lovely overlooking the Solent. New pool area is amazing. And all the new updated areas are lovely.

The check in process was similar to that in Faulty Towers, they had lost our key to the apartment. Think they may have some sort of bugs as a couple of my friends had bites. Some staff were great but I’d say the majority weren’t particularly helpful. We asked for some ice at the pool area, having brought a £50 bottle of luke warm wine, was advised by the lady at the pool bar that we would have to wait 30mins for a colleague! I decided to get dressed and head over to Martha’s to get my own. Steam room at the Spa was out of order, no windows inside, so I found it quite depressing.
