Clean and staff was very cooperative and responsive

The first room we got was so tiny that our luggage did not fit in, but when we told them they instantly changed it to a bigger room.

The staff were really kind and helpful throughout my stay. They were always happy to answer any questions I had, whether it was about the hostel, the city, places to eat, shopping, or day trips. They even helped me buy a ticket for the Kaiyukan Aquarium, which was really nice! :) You could always have a nice chat with them, and it was also easy to meet and connect with other guests. The room was quite spacious for Japanese standards, and I think the price was very reasonable for what you get. Overall, I had a great stay and would definitely recommend this hostel. As a little extra, they also have a guest book where you can write or draw something and mark on a world map where you’re from. There’s also a map of Osaka where guests can leave recommendations for different areas and things to do. I thought this was a really nice touch and a fun way to get ideas from other travelers!

Since it is a hostel, I think it is understandable that the common areas you share with other guests can sometimes be a little messy. This is not the staff’s fault, but rather depends on how other guests leave the shared spaces. The cleaning team always did a great job of keeping everything as clean and tidy as possible!

In den Aufenthaltsbereichen war oft Müll - liegt aber eher an den anderen Gästen. In dem Doppelzimmer war sehr wenig Platz.

The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. The staff were friendly.

The room looks nothing like the pictures, which looked a lot more luxurious. There was also no natural light in the room, and barely any windows. The room overall was pretty clean, but the shower curtain was mouldy. If you want to empty the tiny trash bin you have to put a sign on your door before 10am. The hotel has 10 floors, but only two washers and dryers which was very inconvenient for a hostel. There was no housekeeping, but that is to be expected. The location is fine, it is close to a metro station (about an 8 min walk), but there are highways all around the hostel. It didn't cause any noise pollution, but it made the neighbourhood feel a little less safe.
