The cottage was spotless and there was lots of space. Some lovely gifts left by the hosts and they don’t scrimp with the heating. They ensured that the cottage was lovely and warm for in the whole stay. The location was wonderful with a pub within walking distance and it was only a short walk into the village of Staithes.

It didn’t bother us at all but be aware that you are in the middle of a working farm so only stay if you are happy with the sound of the sheep in the morning. We were!

A wonderful cottage modernly decorated, yet very cosy. spotlessly clean and has everything you need, a real home from home. The owners are lovely and contactable should you need anything. There was a “goody basket” and milk on arrival which was much appreciated. situated in a beautiful area, only a 10-15 minutes walk in to the picturesque village of Staithes and a couple of minutes walk to our new favourite pub, Fox and Hounds!

The cottage was very clean and the owners friendly and helpful. There was a box of chocolates and a lovely card from the owners welcoming us to the cottage, there was fresh milk in the fridge and tea, coffee and sugar. Beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean and modern. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly which was well appreciated by our daughter.
