Ember Rae Amsterdam

The hotel is in an excellent location, which is its highlight in my opinion. It's an 8-minute walk from Leidseplein and it's very easy and convenient to explore the center from there. The room and bathroom had a great size and were very clean. The bed is always a sensitive matter for me, as I have a bad spine, but the mattress was very comfortable. The hotel also offers a 24-hour staff and an elevator (very rare in the center of Amsterdam). I found it to be an excellent cost-benefit.

The only negative points were the extremely thin walls (you can hear absolutely everything that happens outside). The staff wasn't the friendliest, but they did their job.

My first stay here. In a lovely quiet location, great rooms and hotel has a lift! Great for solo travelling! Close to the parks and muesems!

Great location local to lots of interesting things to see and do, very polite and efficient staff and the beds are very nice and comfortable.

Unfortunately the shower went everywhere when trying to use it but was still capable of getting clean and freshening up everyday.

Room was small but was clean and comfortable

The bathroom let this property down. The shower was difficult to use and couldn’t be used without flooding the whole bathroom
