Sandos Papagayo

Great location, wonderful sea view and swimming pool view from the balcony, great facilities, clean, adults only swimming pool, great food, some cocktails included in the all inclusive package (until 23:00), pool bar, snack bar open during night, three restaurants.

The restaurant is excellent with a good range of food. The aquafit is really fun too. My bedroom was clean and comfortable.

I absolutely love this hotel I have been a returning customer here for 10 years. But this time the standard wasn't as high as it was. The swimming pool area was dirty and the tiles never washed like they used to be. Rubbish and hair on the ground around the pool and cracked tiles. So unhygienic especially for those with young children. My bedroom drawer cabinet was also broken and my shower fell apart. The communal toilets had broken flushes. Something has really changed and it's really, really sad to see my favourite hotel like this. Whoever is running the hotel it's not too late to make these changes.

Frühstück war gut. Die Lage des Hotels sehr schön.

Geschirr, Besteck und Gläser waren schmuddelig. Das Essensangebot gross aber immer wiederholt. Weniger Auswahl und mehr Abwechslung hätten wir für besser gehalten. Das Essen im Restaurant mit Reservation hat uns beide Male nicht geschmeckt. Unser Zimmer benötigte eine Nachreinigung, eine Bettdecke war auch nicht frisch bezogen!

My designer trainers were taken from my room. I have sent an official complaint to hotel but have yet to get a reply. It ruined holiday for us and we felt violated as someone in our room who we should be able to trust. Its the basis of staying in the hotel - Can I ask why the hotel has responded to all other reviews I see on here but has ignored this issue I have highlighted. This is extremely disappointing and unprofessional
