The staff were incredible. They went the extra mile for our wedding night! We had roses in the room, heart-shaped coasters, a hand written card from the staff. The room was incredibly large, and immaculately clean! The internet was stable enough to easily stream videos to our tablet and connect two handheld games consoles to the internet too. There was a help yourself, breakfast nook, just near the entrance. Perfect if you're peckish during the night or if you really need that extra tea bag. It had a wonderful selection too! We'll definitely be staying here again when we next visit Lancaster! It was almost perfect!

The people in the room next door kept arguing loudly all night, but that's not the hotel's fault. Can't help your neighbours sometimes after all! Also massive vans/trucks going down the road at all hours of the morning. Again, can't be helped.

Very friendly welcome, we had previously seen the reviews and were a little sceptical, but nothing to worry about. Everything was excellent as per the reviews. We really enjoyed it and would have no hesitation about staying again. Thanks very much for an excellent host. Ian and Elaine.

Nothing. Clean very comfortable beds. As much continental breakfast as you liked. We arrived from Tenerife so needed it to be warm and was not disappointed.

Clean spacious room. Excellent en suite. Basic breakfast supplies including fresh fruit available whenever I wanted them was a bonus.

I had to go elsewhere for an evening meal

The "grab and go" breakfast was extremely handy and adequate for our needs. Bar served craft ales and was not noisy as closed at 10pm.

No breakfast, but cereal, milk and yogurt along with fresh fruit was available outside the rooms every morning. Location was very central to the town centre and most things of interest. Very friendly staff and exceptional value for money.

I can't really give any negative feedback. I thought the price paid was very cheap and I would have expected to pay more for what was offered.

some interesting holes in the wall near the kettle. Bed was a bit high but very comfortable. Interesting window blind....it was see through, although there was a curtain to compensate.
