Great location. The historic aspect of the building.
The room, although nicely furnished, could do with some improvement. There should be a lamp on the desk. There could also be a foldable rack to put the luggage on. There could be more hangers including those for trousers, and it would be good if the cupboard door with the internal full-length mirror could stay open for one to properly use the mirror (as there was no other full-length mirror in the room).
The breakfasts took awhile to come. The Eggs Benedict was not what was advertised on the menu (it was not made with English muffin).

Location was perfect . Everything very clean &. Staff helpful. Excellent breakfast.
Was very pricey for a room without an en suite, but I guess thats due to the location so close to the harbour. The fridge was tiny and couldn’t fit a bottle of wine inside, and no view from the window. Need a suitcase stand to put cases on .

We loved the old style building. The rooms were lovely and fresh and ours looked out over the First Fleet Park at Circular Quay. The sitting room where we could relax until our room was ready was wonderful. We also had to leave before breakfast was available so were given a to go box which was appreciated. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and sorted everything for us.
The only blemish we could think of was not enough power points to charge our phones. If you have a heap of luggage the stairs in some parts could be tricky.

The hotel itself was lovely and well located, and the room was comfortable.
We had a room facing the street and unfortunately the noise was constant. We could hear people outside throughout the night, followed by loud machinery and vacuuming early in the morning. The soundproofing was simply not adequate and we had a very disrupted night’s sleep. Given the amount we paid for a one-night stay, we were extremely disappointed.
