The food was very good. Decent-sized portions for people who have been outside all day and built up a good appetite. The staff were all very helpful and efficient. The bathroom was new, shiny and had a great shower. The bed was quite soft but comfortable too.
Our room was snug, but at the side of the inn with only a limited view. It would be helpful if the booking web site gave a bit more detail about what you can see (or not) from the bedroom window.

Staff very professional but friendly and helpful. Nothing to much trouble.
Room was cosy.

Tasty and plentiful home cooked breakfasts. Brilliant location with lots of nearby walks suitable for all age groups.
The separate private bathroom was a little inconvenient but appreciate it was due to allowing more space in the bedroom.

It looks attractive from the outside.
The room was terrible. Minuscule and impossible to move around the small bed without sliding one’s back against a wall.
Equally minuscule bathroom that required the skills of a contortionist to even get into the shower.
Then trying to get one’s hands above one’s head to shampoo virtually impossible.
The swarming flies in attack mode at breakfast were horrible.

"The main thing was the staff they were so helpful and obliging. The breakfasts were fantastic, buffet style breakfast and individualised English breakfast choices which was impressive. Very good refil..."
