Located in the CBD so was really easy walk around the city everyday, staff was really friendly and helpfull. We have loved the bathroom with the tv in the shower and the bed was really comfortable.

The rooms and the facilities like the pool seems dated.

The swimming pool was closed early when I reported it to the manager he said he would get back to me and let me know why. There was a lot of people waiting to go for a swim with kids but disappointed.

Confusing with the aircon in the room - was very hot (23 degrees) in the middle of the night and only a lot of button pushing eventually reduced that to something more enjoyable. Basically the thermostat was a significant issue. Also the parking charged me $80 for my overnight stay despite indicating that it was $50 overnight. That's outrageous and seriously impacted my enjoyment of the stay.

The room was very clean and wide, location was Amazing! and the bed was comfortable.

Bed too hard Television reception was not good No milk in fridge for tea or coffee, Should at least have some long life milk in the fridge,so you can make a quick coffee with out having to wait for someone to bring milk up.

The location is superb and staff are very helpful.

The facilities are old, room is small, the towel at the shower room with dirt.

Very clean and spacious room. Bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was wonderful always hot water. Very close to all amenities. Staff service was impeccable. Food was 5 star.

The room was lovely, and loved the adequate hanging space for dresses and work area. Bed was super comfy and good pillows which was great as I suffer a spinal injury. Always wonderful to have a bathtub!

I personally don't like the idea of having a virtual minibar. I just don't like having to ring up for every little thing including real milk for tea, water or basic alcoholic beverages. The bathroom basin area was too small - there was no elbow room. Also, the first time I've ever needed a sewing kit on a business trip, it was the first 5 star hotel where I didn't have one. Not a big deal... Concierge service was also a bit hit and miss - a couple of the staff were very dismissive but most were wonderful. Coffee in the brasserie is undrinkable by Melbourne standards :(

Great location. Nice room with lovely view over QVB and town hall. Nice breakfast with good variety. Pleasant staff.

The corridors look a bit tired but generally the rooms have plenty of space and nice decor. Really uncomfortable pillows.

Breakfast options and room location were not what I expected from this hotel chain. We would not stay here again. We were told the room we were allocated was the only option left placing us near the lift well, which sounded like a freight train coming through :( Please ensure you are not in these rooms on any level. The lift was switched off at 10pm but started up very early so no sleep in at all.
