Hotel Park Makarska

Great location by sea, beach, and in the midst of most activities and restaurants.

Shower did not have an enclosure.

The hotel was wonderful, very clean and modern with lots of natural lighting. All the personnel were lovely, very cheerful, welcoming and accommodating. The room was great. From the balcony in our room we still had a view of the sea and the beach, even-though it wasn’t officially a sea-view room. I especially appreciated the specious bathroom, big mirror and the soft, plushy, fresh beachtowels that you could replace daily after use for a clean one. Breakfast was tasty and had plenty of variety. The beach was extremely close by , just a walk down the stairs from the hotel-pool, or even taking the elevator to -1 and basically walking onto the beach. Food and drinks at the hotel restaurant, located on the beach, were also great! All the waiters were very kind and charming, especially our fellow-bosnian waiter Muhamed who frequently served our table. Nothing but gratitude and kind words about our stay at the hotel, would definitely recommend and revisit during a future trip to Makarska.

Frühstück war super, Betten war bequem, nur die Sauberkeit könnte besser sein der Boden war voller Haare, nachtkästen voller staub und krümmel

Wir haben Superior Zimmer mit Meerblick gebucht, statt Meerblick hatten wir ein Gebäudeblick im 1 Stock. Schade, war sehr enttäuscht und buchte extra mit Meerblick.

Location was great

The staff weren’t very helpful - no information given on check in even about the hotel layout , breakfast location and time, other facilities etc and we weren’t asked if we wanted any help etc. I commented it was the fastest checkin ever however that’s not necessarily a good thing. I had emailed the hotel previously asking for help with trips etc and they responded they would help on arrival - still no help given . the cleaners never took or cleaned any glasses or cups from the room or cleaned anything really . Upon checkout I was asked if everything was ok with the stay and I responded the cleaning could have been improved and he didn’t even respond . The room was ok but the pool was far too small for the number of guests and towels filled every sunbed by 8/8.30 every morning so we didn’t use the pool once
