Fantastic boutique hotel in the small harbour. Absolutely great receptionist, very helpful, professional and funny. Hotel is in an old estate and recently upgraded or renovated. Rooms look like from latest interior design magazines in great quality. Breakfast was good. Not unnecessary overwhelming large, but more than sufficient choice for a breakfast. Location of the hotel is great in the center of town at the harbour front. Can absolutely recommend. Of all the approx 2000 hotels I have stayed in my life, this one scores very high.

Breakfast was excelent, we enjoyed our stay, we really liked interior of our room,staff was friendly and they provided baby bed as we requested.

It was Saturday and it was too loud due to music in the nearest pubs.

well designed rooms and good view over Makarska Marina

Poor ventilation in the bathrooms making it hard to breath after showers. Bathroom sink is more suitable for restaurants than rooms, unavoidable splashing everywhere when doing the morning routine of teeth brushing, washing face etc. Breakfast is poor in variety and the service takes a very long time. Location is good once in the room, but on one side very noisy due to proximity to live music and pubs, also, be advised that you will need to park very far from the hotel as parking is only public from municipality and then carry luggage across several old city steps until you have reached the hotel reception. Also hotel grounds and rooms are much much bigger in the pictures online than in real life actual square meters. Staff tries to be friendly but it is in-genuine and their actions don't reflect real customer oriented service. Breakfast area is outdated and the garden presented in the pictures is front of the beachside road making it very very noisy and polluted place to have a meal. Also as mentioned above, the garden is much much smaller than in the actual pictures. Overall due to the services, location, friendliness of staff, breakfast this is a 3 star hotel at most. The design in the rooms is fit for 4 stars but not enough to overrule everything else. Poor value over money.

The noise from the bar downstairs is unbelievable at night. If you can sleep during a rock concert this is a place for you, otherwise pack earplugs and expect to sleep only after midnight when the music eds.

the room very little and a little bit claustrophobic. there isn’t any facilities besides the hotel restaurant.

the location was great (although noisy) and the staff were lovely…and tried to help with the on-going issues in our suite

we couldn’t close the window blinds which were on a motor-it seems this was an on-going issue and the motor wasn’t powerful enough, would overheat during the day and as a result not function at night. At the end of the day, this meant the sun shone in at the crack of dawn. Not bad if the thumping techno beats from the bar behind the hotel would turn off at a reasonable time (but they don’t).
