Absolutely exceptional!!

Perfect location. Amazing staff! Beautiful property!!

Loved the location, so convenient to the vaporetto (and also the traghetto), as well as for exploring the Dorsodouro; the facility is sparkling clean, our room opened onto the courtyard and was so pleasant. The staff went above and beyond to cater to our every desire; the included breakfast was hearty and there was plenty of variety. The dedicated arrival by water taxi was absolutely worth the price; having someone waiting as you get off a long flight, assist with luggage and deposit you into a beautiful Riva water taxi really starts the visit off with a bang. Staff recommendations for dinner were very good, and assistance finding an excellent guide at short notice are very much appreciated. Transfers back to the main train station were equally smooth. We ate dinner one night at the hotel restaurant; the grilled sea bass was cooked to perfection.

The bed was quite firm; but I’m sure that if I’d thought to ask for a mattress topper one would have been provided asap.

Personal beim Frühstück war toll

Am Abend an der Bar wurde meine Frau nicht als Hotel Gast erkannt und entsprechend schlecht behandelt. Das ist eines so renommierten Hotels nicht würdig.

Das freundliche Personal und die Lage

Das Zimmer war nicht schön, nicht sauber und vorallem das Badezimmer war eher eine Zumutung.
