Location less convenient

The location was great. The room was clean and quiet.

The bed was not the most comfortable. The decor outdated.

Helpful staff, comfortable, breakfasts, 3 stations quite close and some attractions within walking distance.

Good breakfast, room was OK, if a little worn and cleanliness was OK. Shower was good even if towels were few. Location is good.

Single towel in the guestroom. I requested and received more, but the online portal that was supposed to accommodate guest requests did not work. Rooms are a little overdue for a renovation (paint worn). Some staff were pleasant and helpful, some less so. I say this as someone who works in the hospitality industry. What I didn't like was an email message I received after my stay was concluded. The front desk manager indicated that I had been overcharged approximately 64 euros. She then requested I send my banking information via email. I told her I would not send this via email and asked her to refund the overcharge to my credit card. She responded that they are not able to do this and again requested my banking information. The email appears to be from a legitimate Hotel Taylor email, so either the hotel's email has been hacked, or the hotel staff truly believe that requesting a guest's banking information via email is an appropriate and secure method. I have not received further emails regarding the overcharge so I am afraid I would not recommend staying here again.
