Le Meridien Al Aqah Beach Resort

Excellent breakfast .... they gave us a free upgrade with a balcony room and we LOVED IT!! The view from the room was FANTABULOUSSS!! Snorkeling to Snoopy Island was nearby which was perfect ..... Also, I forgot my wallet in one of the washrooms and the staff retrieved it almost instantly .... Overall, a perfect experience .... Note that this was my second trip to this resort and it still didnt disappoint!! MUST VISIT!

I guess I booked late so I found the rate a bit pricier than what I got in April; will make it a point to book more in advance though to be fair the hotel did give us a room upgrade so made it all worth it!

Best aspect in Le Meridien has been their hygiene, decor, vibe & customer service. I have been to quite a few resorts and had been rather disappointed either by vibe or hygiene or facilities/rooms or customer service. Le meridien gets a 10/10 in all and i hope they'll be able to maintain this

The cloth of seats in Views Restaurant need a bit of make over

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. It has almost everything you could want for a relaxing long weekend away. The rooms are beautiful, modern, spotless, and incredibly spacious. The bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in, and the shower was excellent. I also loved the bathroom products provided and the sunrise was amazing to see from our balcony every morning. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome. The valet parking and front-desk teams were friendly, professional, and efficient. Check-in was smooth, and our luggage arrived in our room very quickly. The pool area is fantastic, and the staff there are always friendly, smartly dressed, and happy to help whenever needed. Food options are sufficient and we were very pleased with the quality of both food and drinks.

The downfall of our stay was the service at the pool bar and, to a lesser extent, the beach bar. The pool bar is where the hotel really falls short. The staff were clearly overworked and under significant pressure, and there simply were not enough team members to cope with the number of guests. As a result, we often found ourselves waiting a long time to be served, either at our table or at the bar itself. One minor observation is that there were often a lot of children in the pool around the bar area. While this can make the area feel a little busier for adults, it is understandable given that this is the shallow end of the pool and therefore a popular spot for families. In the end, we spent most of our time at the beach bar, which was much better. Ramish was a superstar. He checked on us regularly and was always quick to bring our orders, providing excellent service throughout our stay.

I liked the beach side of the property.

Unfortunately had to keep following up from a tooth brush to bottle of water.
