Sofitel Westlake offered us an excellent choice of eastern and western breakfast with excellent seating and very friendly and attentive service by the very cordial and helpful staffs. The concierge Tim and his team were very friendly and very helpful and provided us with valuable information to make our outings and visits to various places of attraction in Hangzhou so smooth and hassle free, we are so grateful with their help and attention. The room service ladies were also very helpful and attended to our various request with superb efficiency that we couldn't ask for better service. We stayed for 9 nights on this trip and although the weather was a bit hot at this time of the year, the hotel being only across the street from the beautiful Westlake made our stay very comfortable. The hotel is also so close to all the local shops and banks we could easily access all the conveniences when needed. The hotel staffs were very professional and were always concerned about the safety and comfort of our stay that when the table lamp broke down unexpectedly, they were so concerned the first thing the staff asked was whether we were hurt and suggested to replace the lamp instead of asking us to compensate for the broken lamp! Sofitel would be our first choice the next time we visit the beautiful historical city. We were very glad we also visited the Songcheng to watch the fantastic show there during our visit. That added to a beautiful memory of our visit, beside the very friendly staffs we met at the hotel and in the various places we visited. Lydia & Albert 👍👍👍 13-22 September 2026

Please refer to above. Closeness to the beautiful Westlake and also the facilities and the hotel personals. The transport available for the outings to various places of attractions.👍👍👍

The location is very close to West Lake, only 5 min walk. It is very convenient to enjoy the sightseeing spot at West Lake. Air condition in the room is good enough.

The hotel is quite old style, while the room charge is quite high. I think based on what i have paid, the hotel doesn't worth the price.
