ibis London Earls Court

Very clean, fresh rooms, beds so comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast do much choice and very good. Bar on level one excellent. Can’t said anything bad at all.

Room was ok - clean and tidy. Props to the housekeepers.

Unhelpful staff. Booked early check-in but rooms were unavailable even though I overheard staff speaking about two rooms becoming available and transferring them between Ibis and Marriott. Questioned why my request wasn't granted and was told 'subject to availability'. I had requested through the official link that was sent to me to 'improve my stay' and that request stayed 'pending'. We drove from the North West to stay there and arrived early as we had plans but had to readjust as we couldn't access the room to get ourselves ready. The check-in process was incredibly slow or the staff just couldn't be bothered hurrying up. We had already booked and paid so you would think that's just a simple case of confirming identity and away you go but it dragged out uncomfortably long considering the queue of guests behind us was growing. Lighting in the room is inadequate. Considering there were two of us staying; there was only one spare pillow and not enough milk for a couple of brews.
