Quiet in a great location

The hotel is near O Connell Street and city centre. The receptionists where nice and helpful.
The room we had for three people was spacious and had beds for five people.
A very old and "tired" hotel. I would not recommend the stairs for anyone over the age of 35. The carpets in the rooms where very british and if you should hoover it you might find things there from the seventies.
The tv was out of function 90% of the time.

Nothing.
the hotel is situated above a niteclub, with music blaring until 2.30am. I had meetings early the next morning. Staff were unsympathetic. I’ve been trying to speak to a manager for the past five days, but they will not return my calls.

Not much.
I found the room very uncomfortable to sleep in. It was very hot as the room was over a boiler system. There was no air conditioning. The booking.com ad did not disclose that this hotel was over two very loud music bars. We asked to be moved but was told that could not be done until about noon the next day. We had an excursion booked and were unable to come back at that time. I wanted to see the room first. But when we got back the other room was not available. The hotel clerk also said they were unaware that the room was so hot which is not true as they had 2 fans running in the room when we got there. The hotel attendant would not offer any compensation. We paid 500 Euros for our 2 night stay which is about $840. cdn. I realize that staying in Dublin is very expensive but that amount for such a sub par hotel is unbelievable. When I booked there, I was expecting better. I would greatly appreciate a portion reimbursed.

So incredibly loud from the pub below - my room was over the stage - could not sleep until music ended. The floor was vibrating with the noise.

The NOISE WAS CONSTANT
6.0
the room (101) was of a good size and had everything you needed (Incl hair dryer and iron/ironing board), there was also sufficient supply of tea/coffee, shampoo, soap etc. the location is very central for north inner city Dublin very close to the Gate Theatre.
it was not very clean. The surfaces were a bit dusty and one of the coat hangers had hair on it… the bathroom also just about bearable, they should enhance the cleaning imo, it really is not nice. I feel I paid too much considering this. Also, for some people it might be too noisy, they have a nightclub downstairs and you get woken up about 2-3am in the morning when people leave the nightclub. It’s not a problem for me personally as I don’t mind that kind of happy noise of happy people but others might not like it.

Honestly, Nothing. and the fact it was €280 a night was a disgrace
Carpet was from the 1950’s, the floor in the room was like scaling hill 16 in croke park there was such a slant on it, avoid at all costs, pay the extra few euro to stay somewhere else

Brilliant location. Tram outside taxis at the door. Great location for 3 arena with only about 20 mins walk. Bang In the center of Dublin. Loads of food places and drink.
The photos do make it look nicer than it is but I didn't have any complaints

This is fairly quiet place to spend a night, but it should not be booked for longer than one night. Going up and down stairs and navigating hidden steps can make this place awkward for some guests, especially if you're travelling with luggage.
The room temperature was awful. I had to ask the reception for an extra blanket and a heater as the room was so cold. To make matters worse, the shower was faulty and it took a long time to get the hot water flowing. The hotel staff tried their best, but I think this is a design issue or there are problems with the plumbing.

To call this establishment a hotel is false advertising.
It is a hostel. Rooms extremely small. When we asked for a bigger room, we were shown a room that was no different. We were told our room was near a night club we were offered ear plugs!!!! We booked this "hotel" for a concert back in September for an extortionate price, we were unable to stay on that occasion, so we rebooked for last night. The quality of the establishment was so poor that we refused to stay there.
Where do i start?
The front of the hostel was run down.
Corridors were tiny.
Rooms were hardly bigger. They were damp.
Staff were unhelpful.
The bathroom was tiny.
There is no option of food.
Once again, and i can't stress this enough, THIS IS NOT A HOTEL.
We feel we were scammed.

Location.
the bathroom was dirty with some hairs stocked on the wall, facing the wall, too hard to take shower. There was a worm sticked on the wall.

The hotel was in quite a good location to access the centre.
The doorway to access the hotel was not pleasant at a nightime, especially when the staff sometimes took a while to answer the intercom. It was above a nightclub (which wasn't mentioned on your website), so was really noisy as we were on the first floor right above it!! In the bathroom, the grout around the tiles in the shower was filthy, the taps were loose on the sink, the door trim was unpainted at the bottom. In the bedroom the windowsills were thick of dust and one of the curtains wouldn't close. The view outside the

nice rooms, great location and really friendly staff. also handy to have 24hr reception as we had a very early flight home.
it was rather noisy at night but not unbearable

location, easy to get to by public transport and nice welcoming staff
outside looks like a closed down bar, no lift, beds were so uncomfortable, stiff, small and itchy. rooms not like photos, bathroom dirty and needs done up. marks on all walls, temperamental shower (boiling then ice), not double/triple glazed windows so noise was as if we were outside. random fire alarm at 642AM on a wednesday. no warning no apology etc. this was the day we were checking out so was a massive inconvenience. 5 days stay was far too long.

Location
I don't know how you can have a room located over the top of a live band plying until 2am and there was hairs in the shower tray and a dry contact lense between the cups

I liked the fact that it was near my favourite spot in Dublin, which is Fibber Magees.

The bed was comfortable and there was tea and coffee and kettle in the room
Could have done with a small chair and table too. We were given a twin room and then we were given the correct room.

I loved the deluxe room
Bed was very comfortable and decor was lovely
Bathroom very luxurious
I was originally planning to stay in an average double room for €153.
However after going up the very creaky and unstable stair case to the top floor I was very disappointed in the room we had gotten.
It was very small but that wasn't much of the problem. Decor was dated, bed was just springs, door looked like it was hacked at, key got stuck in the door on first entering, lighting is terrible, dirty ironing board. Just didnt feel very safe or clean. However the bathroom was clean and we had a kettle and TV.
I guess it's more of a one night stay rather then comfort?
I did then go down to reception to ask for an upgrade to the deluxe room (they were very accommodating and did it without delay) However we had to pay a deposit of €100 for the deluxe room (which we got back the next day on the basis we didn't trash the place)
The deluxe room was just an extra €7 so if you are to stay here I would advise to spring for the deluxe room. It was definetly a well worth upgrade with a very comfortable bed, clean and very spacious (complete opposite to the original room)
All in all it was a pleasant stay
Staff were friendly and accommodating
Would stay here again but only if the deluxe room is available.

The room were smelly, the hygien level of this hotel is
1 /10, everything was terrible about it apart from the location, do not book here unless you want a nightmare of a time!

Good location for our needs, comfortable beds
Shower varied from hot to cold during shower. Leak stains on ceiling in bedroom. No extractor fan in bathroom.
