Stone House Cave Hotel

The staff was incredibly welcoming, and the hotel's central location made it very convenient, especially being right near the sunrise/sunset viewpoint. We did encounter a couple of minor issues-the washbasin clogged, but the team fixed it immediately upon our complaint. When we asked for extra warmth due to the cold weather, they quickly provided an external heater. They even packed us a lovely breakfast for our early morning flight check-out. I also liked that they cleaned the room everyday without asking. Also they provided us with free water bottles everyday. Overall, it was a peaceful stay with a fantastic location and wonderful service.

While the hotel had some positive aspects, a few things fell short of my expectations. Based on previous reviews, I was excited about the breakfast, but I found it to be just average. The room was also a bit disappointing because the window didn't open to an outdoor view. Additionally, while the clogged washbasin was eventually fixed, waiting around for the handyman took up a few hours of our trip, which was quite inconvenient.

This property is fantastic. The staff is very helpful. Amazing breakfast buffet. Beds are comfortable. Great location.

Great location easy walking to all amenities. Lovely courtyard and terrace. The room and bathroom were compact but the seats on the balcony more than made up for this. Overall the appearance and decor of the hotel is beautiful. Kind staff, we used their recommendation for a balloon trip and were not disappointed. Lovely reasonably priced restaurant, good food and we were allowed to bring our own beverages. We took a communal shuttle bus (not pre-booked, the buses were waiting along side the expensive taxi options) to the hotel from the airport and it was an easy walk to the bus terminal for our onward journey.

Just to note there are a lot of stairs if you are less mobile. The restaurant terrace is the main area if you want to socialise. As to be expected, the call to prayer is apparent.

room was very large and tidy it was in the main street staff were very helpful value for money given that the whole town knew that balloons were cancelled for that week, I would have appreciated being told. we would not have gone, but I guess the hotel wouldn't make any money then.

not the room we booked (we booked 3 seperate beds not a single and queen) the single was by a window which was directly under the street lamp, which shone into my eyes through sizable gap in blinds toilet paper dispenser was cheap and like a public toilet. I prefer a roll of paper. while the room walls were stone finish, it wasn't "cave like".
