Beautiful grounds and rooms

The sofa bed mattress wasn’t the most comfortable

Absolutely beautiful and historic. Beautiful grounds as well. Lots to explore. Breakfast asn dinner were excellent. Room was spacious and well appointed. Bed comfortable. Convenient to Heathrow

Lots of stairs to room, but that is part of the charm and history.

A wonderful property, you feel the history. The grounds are beautifully kept by Graham and his team, adding to the atmosphere and quality of our stay. Al the staff were friendly and professional, and above all welcoming. The F and B staff, led by an admirable Thibault, who was indefatigable in his efforts to ensure that all guests were looked after, were also friendly and always looking to ensure that the guests were looked after. To top it all, the food was first class and to be honest a welcome surprise in terms of quality to price

Great location with absolutely stunning grounds. Our room in the stables was lovely but very small. Plenty of parking spaces.

Breakfast was terrible. It was burnt, lukewarm and had literally been dumped on the plate. Both the teapot and coffee pot were cracked and the breakfast set up was poor, the area needs modernising, it is very dated. The staff at breakfast were not very good either. Needless to say we didn't bother with breakfast on the second morning.
