The Old Palace Lodge

It's a perfect traditionnal English Hostel with all we imagine for an old victorian house. Nice reception, place to read and spend a marvellous tea time.

toilets are not up to date. But it is often like this in UK.

Beautiful hidden gem

Nothing

The location was one of the best features of this property. It was conveniently situated close to restaurants, shopping, and making it easy to get around and explore the area. The neighborhood felt safe and accessible, and everything was just a short drive or walk away.

The room facilities were quite basic and disappointing, especially considering the hotel had been recently renovated. There was no air conditioning, which made the room uncomfortable during the warmer summer temperatures in the UK. Additionally, the room did not include a fridge or even a fan, amenities that would have significantly improved comfort during hot weather. Overall, the room felt under-equipped compared to what was expected from a newly renovated hotel.

The bed and pillows where very uncomfortable hard did not sleep And the cleaning was was really good bathroom was dirty and had dust all over it really could do with a overall makeup
