Location was perfect, room was very nice and easily accessible for my partner who is not able to do stairs. Food in the restaurant was good. Some staff were more attentive than others. Decor through out was very good, Spa was lovely but quite small. Fortunately there were not many people staying Thurs/Fri/Sat when we went in early September
I did not like that the spa was shared with non hotel users / members, I would happily return for a weekday visit but not weekend as on the Saturday my morning swim & sauna was overshadowed by loud children swimming with their parents.

We liked the comfortable beds, air conditioning was used and the complimentary Gin was great.

Location is fab. Lovely pool. Most staff were friendly and helpful. Decor is unique and authentic charm to the hotel.
Such restricted times for children in the pool. We made a family booking for two rooms and they were very, very far apart. We were told this was because we had requested A/C. (We hadn’t). It is a family tolerant hotel, rather than family friendly. Late check-in time. Breakfast was poor. Hot tub was closed on one of the only two times we were able to visit leisure facilities within children’s times. Areas closed off for private functions.
