Petwood Hotel

I stayed here before 3 years ago and loved everything about the hotel. I stayed this time in a four poster bed, the room was massive, the facilities in the room were excellent and the view of the gardens was beautiful. To staff were extremely friendly and nothing was too much for them. The hotel is just beautiful and extremely historic in relation to 617 squadron. Breakfast was good and plentiful. I stayed another night at short notice, which was not a problem, I moved to a different room, which again was very good. On the last night there was a young lady playing a piano near the main restaurant, just awesome. The food was excellent I will definitely stay again, hopefully soon. I did not think they could improve on last time I stayed, but they did.

The first morning at breakfast was put on a large table, which me and my wife thought was a bit strange. Only to find we had been put on a table that a group of friends had ask for, the group was given a different table, but unfortunately they made us feel uncomfortable with comments as they were getting there breakfast. Everything else was excellent

The great character of the hotel, food and service were also exceptional.

Very good when in the restaurant

The fire 🔥 alarm going off at 12-30 am when fast asleep in bed banging my head when falling out of bed the alarm was so loud and we didn't get any explanation for the fire alarm going off.
