We had a lovely 5-day stay at Roamer in Melbourne while visiting for the marathon. The private room was perfect for our short last minute getaway, comfortable and a great base to explore the city and enjoy the marathon weekend. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend it to others!
There wasn’t much we didn’t like! Everything was great for our short stay, and we had a lovely experience overall.

First, the staff-on-duty accommodated me well. Next, the location is in a nearby suburb of Melbourne CBD. Trams are accessible to and from the city proper. Third, it is also a short walk away from St. Kilda Beach, with multiple food and drink options along the way. Lastly, it is a 10-minute walk from the Melbourne Airport Skybus pick-up and drop-off zone.
I guess it is not the property itself, but the surroundings. There are pubs nearby and drunk customers sometimes get actually noisy during wee hours (1-3AM) which may disturb sleeping guests. Also, some guests themselves do not clean up their mess after using the common bathrooms.

Great location, friendly staff
Broken cabinets in the room, said would get fixed but didn’t. Ants and flies all over the kitchen. Bad mould in all the bathrooms
