Ideal location. A bit remote but yet at a walking distance from most attractions. The room was neatly decorated, quite spacious and the bed was comfortable.
An upgrade to the breakfast buffet. Offer more variety of options.

We upgraded to a premium king room. It was large and elegant, with 2 small chaise longe, lots of storage, a bar fridge, great air conditioning, and a spacious shower and bathroom. Excellent location 10 mins walk from Waverley train station, the Royal Mile and trams to Princes St. Reception staff were very helpful and accommodating.
For what we paid (almost $A1000 a night) we would've have liked the broken lamps to have been fixed. The King bed was 2 single beds pushed together with either very cheap or very old mattresses. The bed (s) was uncomfortable
We had to ask for more pillows as the thin feather pillows were inadequate. In a tourist hotspot like Edinburgh hotels know they can get away with this.

Great location. Friendly Staff.
Worst bed ever. We felt like we had been given a beating after sleeps that were fitful at best. If you like an extra-firm mattress, or camping out on a slab of rock with no mattress pad, this is the place for you!

"Das Hotel ist sehr Zentral und Super vom Flughafen aus mit dem Tram zu erreichen ( Station Picardy Place)! Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und hatte eine grosse Auswahl, also für jeden was dabei.
