The Resident Edinburgh

Very good location. Clean room. Good facilities. Good bed. Nice bathroom, with quality toiletries. Discounted parking arrangements very welcome.

Not having own parking, albeit understandable. Didn't feel it was value for money, though cities are expensive.

Walking distance from Princes Street and Edinburgh castle. Spacious rooms with all the amenities. The staff were super nice and welcoming. Towels were changed daily and the bed was made every morning.

The room was superficially clean but my dust allergies kicked in really fast and really bad. Was sneezing and coughing nonstop for three days despite having the window open day and night. The mattress was on the harder side, and "king bed" was just two twin beds joined together with a single bed cover. Also, the photos are a bit misleading because they show large windows views of Edinburgh castle for this room type. The one I got was facing the opposite side with significantly smaller windows. Would have been better if they sold each room as a separate offering.

Excellent service
