Hadley Bowling Green Inn

What a find! So impressed, it’s hard to know where to start. Chris and his entire team were absolutely amazing, nothing was too much trouble and they were genuinely lovely. It’s steeped in character and history; Guy Fawkes met his co-conspirators here and Elizabeth I played bowls on the green. We sat in the sunshine and watched some bowling matches with a drink. Perfect! We had a lovely lunch on arrival, dinner that night, and a fantastic breakfast before we left. Rooms were comfortable and spotless, and our dog was very welcome. Plenty of free parking and surrounded by countryside. We loved it, and will definitely return. Thank you to Chris and his awesome team for a wonderful experience.

I can’t fault the pub at all.

Everything, room, food and staff all outstanding.

Nothing

This property was lovely and clean, friendly and had sufficient parking. Breakfast was excellent as was the evening meal. Would recommend.

There was no lift, but we managed.

Staff very helpful

Room was shabby and in need of refurbishment. At £236 for the night it was lousy value for money. There was even a supplement if you wanted the full English breakfast
