We stayed in 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom accomodation and it was very spacious with a large living and kitchen area. Though our room’s washing machine was broken, there was a common one by our building. Was handy that there were 2 restaurants to choose from too. Pool was nice! Bus goes to/from town easily. Staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend and would recommend to friends too!
Reception closes at 5pm so make sure if you need anything, ask before 5pm

Big rooms convenient location
No central area, bad internet, no ability for staff to call taxis

The breakfast was very small, we weren’t full after. I checked in and the room view wasn’t as pictures “ocean view studio” should be a clear ocean view like how the photos were. We got moved into the correct room, the blinds didn’t work so light came in the next day. Heads up - don’t waste your money on the steaks. Didn’t even have a phone in the room how a resort should, had to use what’s app to contact. Can’t order drinks by the pool too.

Our first time staying in Vanuatu and can't wait to go back.
Buses were so easy to catch and they weren't expensive.
It was great to go into town and just wander around and everybody was just so friendly.
Staff were exceptional as they all interacted in a friendly and professional manner at all times. We couldve quite easily brought staff home with us to work in our hospitality venue. We felt like we were treated like a part of a family. We were always welcomed with a smile hugs and our first names which was fantastic.
Choice of food could have been a bit more expansive but we never left the table hungry. Food was always lovely.
Congratulations to management and team. Nothing was a problem and our questions were always answered with a smile. Can't wait till we go back next year.
There was nothing that we didnt like except having to come home to cold weather.

Easy access to town via the buses! Very nice pool and beach access. Rooms were also very clean and comfortable, only downside was the cooking utensils were not amazing but that only matters if you are looking to use the kitchen a lot. The staff were definitely the best part of the resort, shoutout to Sandra, Lydia and Charlene who were absolutely wonderful and so kind and helpful. Whenever we wanted to book and activity or driver they would help us out and call restaurants to book tables since we didnt have a sim card. I also got food poisoning and they were so helpful in giving us doctor and hospital options, Sandra even called her nurse sister for advice and gave us her number and checked up on us she truly went above and beyond.
For our first time in Vanuatu we had such a great experience with Nasama and would highly recommend!
Pretty sure i got my food poisoning from the eggs I ate at the complimentary breakfast but can only guess, and of course my two friends who ate there every morning were completely fine.
Other than that we loved everything!!

Nasama Resort's best feature is its staff and their beautiful customer service. The team go above and beyond to make your stay amazing. We were greeted at the front of the resort and taken to our room which I thought was a kind little touch. The room was huge, we had fresh flowers and the linen smelt like salt air and sunshine. The Wi-Fi in our room wasn't working and a team member came to our room and worked on it until it was perfect, I think he even went into town to get parts! The resort has some wear and tear from the recent cyclones however given they were only 6 months ago; the team have come together to look after their guests. Nothing is a bother for the Nasama team, they let us have a complimentary late check out as no one was checking into the room and Reception even let us exchange some of our bigger notes for small changes so we could get the bus into town. If you are expecting pool side cocktails and flashy amenities, this isn't your place. However, Nasama make up for that with the small touches – Resort cats slink around and purr when picked up, a gorgeous team member lined up my shoes and folded my pyjamas at the end of my bed, the waves can be heard as you go to sleep and the team are full of smiles and helpful suggestions. If you are looking for a genuine, authentic experience where the team members look after you, then book now.
We had a great trip! Yes, there was a rooster at silly o'clock, the ocean was a bit rough to take out kayaks due to the weather, but we made the most of it and the postives outweighed anything else, the resort can't control a rooster and unruly weather!

Beautiful location, lovely and helpful staff, always service with a smile, felt very welcome
WiFi wasn't working in rooms, although staff tried their best to fix the issue.

Amazing beach and pool. The staff were friendly at the Cafe. They changed our towels every day which was great. We were always at the beach or pool.
The after hours service for reception was non responsive. I downloaded whatsapp to contact them (as advised), no one got back to me. We had an early check out in the morning. The wifi apparently was down due to a storm. We stayed 5 nights and it never worked but when we went to the Cafe, it worked. Weird how the cafes wifi worked but the hotel one didn't. We needed wifi for work purposes so it was a real let down when we read they had wifi at the property and then there wasn't.

The room was big and open, the views were fantastic and the sound of ocean was very soothing. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was beautiful when they didn't loose our order.
The price of the drinks on one of the bars was quite expensive. We had breakfast included but got charged extra for the large breakfast. On the other mornings our order was lost and the next day only received half our order.

Breakfast was really good, with good variety.
Service on Vanuatu time, so you need to be patient.
Restaurant don’t open for lunch

Lovely view to the ocean. Two choices of restaurant/cafes with good food albeit not cheap. Staff friendly and generally helpful. Lovely pool with great view of the little bay in front of lodge.
Any sign on the road from the airport would have been helpful (even an advertisement) to reassure us we were not lost in this country that has absolutely no street signs. The grounds have understandably suffered from the cyclone although they have been tidied well. But the large areas of unsealed roading and paths within the complex can be difficult especially at night.
Within our accomodation there were a number of issues eg safe unable to be opened for whole visit (despite being reported), faulty lights, no seats in lounge except one uncomfortable old sofa. Given the international prices charged furniture and fixtures should be of a higher standard. Having a heavy bamboo curtain between the bedroom and lounge (rather than folding doors or a curtain on windows) was a challenge we could have done without.

The restaurants are great. The staff are lovely.
The wifi was patchy.

Stayed there during two severe tropical cyclones (Judy and Kevin) in March 23. The houses are very stable, so always felt save. Unfortunately the resort has no generators for the rooms, so we were out of electricity for days. But the staff did a fantastic job to always keep us happy and safe. They cooked us warm breakfast and dinner on a gas stove every day and delivered it to our rooms during the storms.
Under normal circumstances this is a wonderful place with great people there and I would always visit again. Highly recommend!
They should have generators for the rooms for emergency cases like cyclones. The large hotels in Port Vila do.

location is not that perfect . only one restaurant option and no lunch provided

I did not like much about the property.
Staff unfriendly and need training, attempted to charge credit cards before the cancellation deadline in violation of the booking conditions, gave misleading instructions, insisted that a full credit card number was written down on the registration form ‘for security reasons’ going against the very security instructions of the card issuers and the payment card industry requirements, did not have any facilities to cater for lunch and had an audacity to charge late checkout fees, the beach was poor, the pool was mediocre, one had drag their bags on sand from reception to bedrooms.

Warm welcome and wonderful service from the staff. Lovely clean swimming pool. Nice little private beach area. Lovely food at the restaurant. Free use of kayaks and snorkeling equipment.
Room needed some repairs, I.e. broken tap in kitchen, toilet roll holder. Extra noisy fridge!! Dirty sofa cover. Outside furniture unraveling. Road to resort needs attention!

we upgraded to the ocean view villa which was AMAZING. It was the end of our trip, so we took the day easy and enjoyed the spectacular views and sounds of the waves crashing.
The gym was unusable. No other complaints!

We thought the room was spacious and well equipped. Kitchen was great. Netflix access on the TV made my kids happy. Nice big rooms/spacious. Air con & fans a bonus. Pool & beach were amazing. Friendly service!
Couldn’t really fault anything except for maybe the vertical blinds came off the hanging tracks at times - a nice thick curtain may be a better option? And maybe a chicken burger on the menu at the cafe. But that’s it!

We recently stayed at Nasama for the first few days of our trip to Vanuatu. The location was great being a little further out of town, but easy to get into town if needed. We only went to town to buy supplies while we were there. It’s also a short walk to other resorts if you feel like mixing it up for dinner or lunch. The snorkelling right by the resort was great, and the pool was great as well. We were lucky to get a beach side apartment with a great view and lots of privacy. Was a great start to our trip.

It's very difficult to rate this hotel but I'll start by saying I actually quite liked it here. For a start it's not really a resort - more like a motel. There is a restaurant associated with it but it's only open part time and cannot provide day-long bar or food service. The rooms are huge and well laid out and the terrace area we had on the ground floor provided easy access to the pool and beach. The kitchen was a good amenity that we used pretty often. The staff were great.
The day we arrived, we went to check in at 4.30pm but were told we'd have to do it tomorrow. Asked where the restaurant was for a drink after a long trek to get there but were told it was closed Mondays. Foreign country, no food or drink available - not great! Seriously, the restaurant is right on the road and doesn't feel to be a part of the 'resort' at all as it's set well away from the rest of the facilities. This 'resort' needs to integrate reception, a bar and the restaurant much closer to the pool and accommodation in order to assume the role of resort. Go down the road to Breakers to see how to do it.

The restaurant served delicious food and included good options for veggies. The restaurant also had a good wine menu. Quite expensive compared to other places on the island but well worth the cost!
It is a shame that the restaurant isn't open for lunch - we would have not left the resort as often as we did if we'd be able to eat lunch there! Appreciate it is a staffing constraint and is a key consideration for the resort post covid-closures but worth noting.

Location to the beach
Big private comfortable room
Lovely pool
Few bits of maintenance required in the room
would improve the room standard.
For example, toilet roll holder falling off the wall.
Just needed a simple screw back in.
Cafe Villa, the resort restaurant. Had dinner there
once and didn’t go back. Maybe should have
given it another chance.

Nothing.
This place was a ghost town. Their website does a good job of selling a place that does not remotely resemble the what you get on arrival. Venuatu is full of such welcoming, warm people. But there were none at this place. Reception was closed. No people to welcome you. No staff just as security guard who takes you to what looks like an apartment block. Inside the room is spacious but the electrical box buzzed all night. No water in the fridge. The internet lights blinked brightly in the room. A box on the wall has a bright neon blue light that shone straight into the bed. It was so disappointing. Whoever designed this place doesn't understand hospitality. The restaurant was expensive and food worse than average. The pool was sad. This place has no heart, no soul it's a money making venture and has nothing to recommend it.

The couch was a little uncomfortable - too soft and low.

Spacious and clean room with a great view of sunrise and the sea. The rock pools with sea cucumbers, sea urchins, crabs, sea stars, etc
The infinity pool facing the sea.
Easy access to town via bus for 150VT.
Friendly, helpful and polite staff.
Delicious meals at cafe Vila.
Intermittent Wifi.
The blunt knives made slicing bread difficult.

Staff were extremely kind and helpful. Restaurant is handy, bit pricey but nice food, Monday is closed. Have a pool in the middle of the resort, but also have access to the ocean. Kayaking is possible, although we did not take on this offer. They also helped us booking for excursions, car hire etc.
No TV network. Other than that, everything was great.

Nasama Resort is a little slice of Paradise! I absolutely loved my stay there- everything was perfect. The rooms very immaculate and cleaned daily. I loved that I could walk out of my room and walk straight to the pool or beach.
The pool was the perfect temp and had great views out to the ocean. It was also very clean and had plenty of pool chairs and places with shade to sit if you wanted to be out of the sun.
The restaurant served the most delicious meals. Everything I ordered was amazing. It's currently only open for Breakfast and Dinner but I'm sure they will be back open for lunch soon. In any case, they open till 11am for breakfast so there was no need for lunch anyway.
The location was perfect- you can get a bus very easily into town. Being out of the way meant peace and quiet from all the noise of the town.
The room had everything I needed- along with kitchen amenities they also have wifi router in each room and a Smart TV.
The staff are all veey friendly and incredibly helpful- especially Sarah, Stephanie and Olivia. They really made my stay unforgettable and I will definitely be back again one day.
Nothing- it was all perfect.
