I really liked the attention of the staff, they were super patient and kind to us. The breakfast is great and they were kind to prepare breakfast to go for us on the day our tour had to leave very early. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. I definitely recommend this place!!

the wifi signal was not very strong but I guess this is normal in San Pedro de Atacama, so not really their fault.

Breakfast was quite nice and the staff very approachable. The location is quite good as well.

Cozy hostel with great location - peaceful but within walking distance to centre. The rooms were small but comfortable. We enjoyed the terrace a lot! We also ended up having separate but private bathroom which was very nice. There wasn’t much to do in the hostel or in the proximity, but you don’t anyway need that, since you’ll be exploring the desert :)

The breakfast was tasty, but very simple (only eggs or ham & cheese sandwich). Sometimes the breakfast was not on time. Also, few times the cleaning lady did not lock our room which was a bit strange. The Wi-Fi was weak in rooms but okay-ish.

the hostel was peaceful and quiet and very close to the bus station. they also cleaned the rooms every day which was nice. also a nice golden retriever is the house dog which was great!

if you are looking for a more social stay I would say this one is more on the quiet side.

Clean, quiet hotel close to the centre but sheltered from the noise of the main street. Staff is kind and very helpful. Breakfast is good and the room are nice and well organised.

It was located just 10 minutes away by foot from the centre and main restaurants. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean.

I would put some more variety for the breakfast.

The rooms are built around a small closed yard with tables and public restroom. On rooftop, there are more space for rest.

The bedding and towel are very old. The bunkbeds don't have railing, which is a big question mark.

Very clean and relatively close to the city center

The room was different than the pictures, it was very dark and hot. it doesn’t offer anything other than bed and bath. Although it is a Hostel, we never felt comfortable to cook or use the kitchen. The staff was not very friendly, they didn’t even give us the Wi-Fi password when we arrived.

I know it's not the most important thing to be connected all the time but the Internet connection was pretty bad.

Weird check in process because their POS does not accept debit cards and they pass a fee to the customer when using credit cards. Awkward situation where the owner made us believe this is everywhere like this in Chile (was our first stop in the country). Luckily for us they were the only business with that policy.

very cold at night - no heating but thick blanket so was bearable. breakfast was nice but very small. issue with paying - you can’t pay in dollars using a debit card. to avoid the 19% tax for Chileans you have to pay with credit card. this wasn’t stated in the terms of the booking and the manager was very rude to me when I expressed that I should be able to pay in dollars using a debit card. generally the staff were fine but not the manager. tbh I felt quite unwelcome especially after I didn’t just cave and immediately pay with credit card (which cost me extra in fees vs debit).

Breakfast was good but could have used a little more variety. Scrambled eggs or cheese and ham were offered every day with bread and yogurt. The location was good. It was about a 10 minute walk to the Main Street in town but was in a quiet area and had parking behind a gate. The walk to town was lighted well so felt safe walking after dark.

Everything was dusty when we arrived. Dust on the pillows, bathroom sink, etc. The bed and pillows weren’t very comfortable and the room was small.

The place is nothing fancy but it’s very clean and comfortable. Perfect for us, since we were out and about seeing the sights all day anyway. There was always hot water, the beds were very cozy, and the heater in our room worked great (almost a little too great! We had to turn it off in the middle of the night.) Breakfast is simple but good with a couple different options. The wifi in the common area was great. The staff were very kind.

Lodging in San Pedro in general is very expensive for what you get, and this place is no different. However, it seemed like better value than a lot of the other places I saw online.

Location was good and room was comfy enough. Place was cleaned daily. Bathroom was across the uncovered terrace.

The experience started off not that great before I arrived. Communication was really bad. Right when I made my reservation, I rec'd an automated message saying that I had a basic room and that I would be staying across the street without amenities. I messaged back stating that I picked a standard room on purpose. Later they mentioned that everything was fine. The week before my stay, I messaged regarding the paid shuttle that was listed on booking. I gave them my information and they said that they would write me once confirmed. I never heard back. The day before my arrival, I got a message asking about what time I would arrive at their place. Very confused, I messaged back stating that I was waiting on confirmation of my shuttle. The person then said that they had 2 parking lots for me to park my car. What?? I messaged again, but didn't hear from them all day and became concerned. I finally found a whatsapp number and called. A woman answered who spoke some english, but not much. She then realized that no one had called a shuttle for me. She then confirmed. Whoever that person was, I did not meet her at the hostal. Upon arrival, no one spoke English like stated on the property listing. I speak spanish, but not fluently. They didn't even try to help with translation. They were on their phones quite often, but couldn't use google translate to make sure people could understand them. There is also not a tour desk like listed on the property listing. The woman who checked me in, who was not very pleasant, but dry, recommended Layana, which also ended up bad. Both the man and the woman who work there are unpleasant. They don't even say Hola or smile at you when you walk through. I tried to talk to the male about breakfast in the am, bc I had an early tour. He hands me a bag with 3 cereal bar and a warm yogurt. This was 8pm. Yogurt can usually only sit out for 6 hours.

Everything was spotless, comfortable, good breakfast and good location.

There was not WiFi in the rooms, I imagine if the hostel is busy it would be very noisy (thin walls).
