1. Location is unbeatable: JR station on the left with bus stops for local bus outside JR station, long-distance (to Tokyo/Nagoya etc) bus station across the road facing the hotel. The long-distance bus station is inside the Alpico Plaza where you can find a supermarket in the basement
2. Free supply of drinks and amenities in the lobby
3. Self-service check in, but staff are friendly and ready to help
Breakfast place can be a bit crowded. But staff are quick to refill / tidy up, and fellow Japanese travellers tend to finish breakfast quickly and clean up their spots afterwards.

The breakfast was really nice, the free drinks included iced coffee, which is convenient if you need to rush somewhere. The lamp buttons next to the bed were a nice touch. There were quite a lot of things you could pick up downstairs. The location next to the station is a definite advantage.
I didn't like the pillow, not really a deal breaker.

- the cleaning was not very good: I found a used tooth brush and some other objects in the room and bathroom

It’s really close to the station so that’s a big plus. You also get a free breakfast, which wasn’t that generous but it’s free so you can’t complain!
Very very old building, rooms, equipment. Bed wasn’t really comfortable, you can smell cigarettes in the halls and sometimes even in the no smoking room.
