Scallywags Beach Club

All Staff were friendly and welcoming. Particularly liked the experienced Staff member at breakfast. He is a character 😃. Breakfast had a good variety to choose from the menu and was presented very well. Location by the beach was fabulous, especially as I had sprained my knee. I didn't need to walk far to places. Free sunloungers for all Scallywags residents . Free water dispensers in all rooms. A nice gift presented to us for being frequent returners to Scallywags properties. Rooms were clean and bed was comfy. Mostly quiet.

Beach towels could be made more readily available. We kept ours for a couple of days each time as we don't really need to get them changed daily. On a couple of occasions we couldn't get replacements as they hadn't any - until around 11 a.m. Friday night party music at nearby restaurant and bar until 03:00. Scallywags do provide ear plugs.

Pool by bar wasn’t what I expected however the beachfront made up for it!

Die Anlage mit dem Garten ist traumhaft schön, das Zimmer und die Einrichtung hat uns gut gefallen, auf der Terrasse kann man sehr gut und bequem entspannen, dank der komfortablen Sitzgelegenheiten. Das Frühstück war klasse- vor allem das Baguette 🥖 war sehr lecker 🤤 und dann noch mit Blick auf das Meer - ein Traum

Das Aussenbad hat uns sehr gut gefallen, aber der Fußboden aus Beton war wenig einladend und lässt sich schlechter sauber halten- aber sicher eher ein Luxus Problem 🫣

The roll was ok - pretty dark, but clean and spacious. The outdoor bathroom was lovely though.

The concept of a beach bar did not suit our family needs. The pool was super dar tight on the bar. The location was also right on the busy part which wasn’t what we were looking for. We had booked online for 7 nights and knew that wasn’t our place at the time of arrival. We asked staff for cancelling it or staying for only 2 nights instead but the staff couldn’t help with that and told us to do it online via booking.com the website thought wanted to charge me for the whole stay even if cancelling. As we had to pay in full we ended up staying. Which didn’t work for us and we ended up leaving anyway (loosing all our money) and moving elsewhere and paying again. Which is far from ideal but it’s our holiday at the end of the day and we wanted to have a great time. We would had been happy with half of a refund or at least something. Anyway, that was nothing wrong with the place, that was just not the vibe we were after, that’s all. But the fact that we couldn’t shorten our stay was a bit disappointing.
