Torwood House

We were there for 4 nights and we loved that our room was large with a separate seating area. Lynda and Steve are great hosts - the service and breakfasts were excellent! We would stay again!

bed was a bit too soft for our taste, but otherwise, very comfy.

Steve & Lynda were so very welcoming. Steve checked us in and showed us to our room, explaining everything to us. At breakfast Lynda was so friendly. Our room was lovely & clean, had everything we needed (we were offered fresh milk but we had taken our own) having a mini fridge in our room was brilliant! Bed was very comfy (i loved it, hubby prefers a harder mattress!) It was very warm so we slept on the duvet with the fleece blanket over us, which was more than adequat. Lovely shower with good pressure/plenty hot water. Breakfast was very yummy. We had full cornish - i'm not sold on hog pudding, way too dry! - hubby is from Lancashire and a black pudding expert 😆 on street parking, no issues getting a space right outside. Really close to all local amenities. Definately will book again next time we go to The Minack Theatre, was perfect for what we wanted on our trip away.

Only thing that was an issue, although we didn't mention it as we were only there for one night, was the toilet was very 'compact' within the bathroom, and for us fortunate women who have a lil extra padding, it was a bit of a squeeze. Contortionism isn't one of my strong suits!!!

Great place to stay, friendly and welcoming, conveniently located within walking distance of the Prom, Penlee, and easy stroll into Newlyn. Everything needed was provided for a relaxing stay.

Can't think of anything, will happily book again.
