Park Hyatt Shanghai

I’d like to leave a review of my trip to Shanghai with my mom and share the incredible level of service we received at Park Hyatt Shanghai. The hotel’s height, beautiful design, and excellent location are things anyone can learn about before booking. But what you can’t know in advance is the genuinely personal approach to every guest, the kindness of the staff, and, most importantly, the way our problems were solved without us having to worry about them ourselves. We would especially like to recognize Lucas, who helped arrange the delivery of our passports and cash that we had accidentally left in another city. He kept us updated throughout the entire process, stayed in touch regarding the shipment, the hotel covered the transportation costs while we were away on our cruise, and contacted us to let us know that our passports and money had arrived safely and were being securely stored until our return. We were truly impressed by the dedication of the entire team, and especially by Lucas, who handled one issue after another with complete calmness and professionalism, as if resolving them was just as important to him as it was to us. We are returning to the hotel today, and we’re genuinely disappointed that we won’t be able to see him because it’s his day off. We hope the hotel’s management knows what an outstanding employee they have. He is responsible, thoughtful, and makes guests feel genuinely cared for. Unfortunately, because it was very late in the evening when another staff member helped us purchase our train tickets, I didn’t manage to remember his name. He carefully explained which railway station we would depart from in Shanghai and which station we would arrive at in Huangshan, making sure we understood everything. We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to him for his patience and kindness. Thank you for making this trip so special and memorable.

Clean modern hotel in the heart of Shanghai. All floors are high-floor with great views. Wish we opted in for the Oriental Pearl view though (don't get mislead by "City View" being the "city" - it's rather back-city 😁). Great facilities, heated pool, spa. Great breakfast buffet combining western and eastern cuisines while overlooking Shanghai from 90-something floor. Very friendly and helpful staff. Didn't see too many people there (compared to Grand Hyatt). Next visit would definitely choose Park.

Internet, but I learnt it is what it is. We used Airalo Unlim for entire trip which was ok.

Everything. The Rooms, the facilities, the restaurants, the bar, the staff, the location, the view…

Great hotel.
