The Bar Convent Guest House

A charming atmosphere. Room was spacious. Having a self catering space was useful. Breakfast was generous. Great location

Nothing. The locking of the front door was not a problem for us.

A very comfortable stay in a central location. A very pleasant stay

Nothing to add

This was an amazing property, just a few hundred yards from the station. It was close to the city centre, within a short walk. The character and history of this place was fantastic. The greeting at reception by a lovely friendly lady was heartwarming. The rooms were spotless and everything you needed was there, lovely large soft, fluffy bath sheets. There is a lovely cafe in the reception area that did an amazing freshly cooked breakfast, well worth the price and it has a beautiful garden attached to it that would be lovely to use on a warm day. As it’s an ex convent, it has its own chapel and an historic tour that you can take that tells you all about the history of the place and there was a gunpowder plot piece to it, very informative

There is nothing not to like about this character filled property.

Gute Lage.
