Clean comfortable bed good shower and great location

The room was well presented and clean. The bed was comfortable. The location was close to shops, restaurants, etc. The staff were really friendly and helpful.

Through no fault of the Owners, the neighbours in the room next door were banging around at 03:45. They made so much noise we decided to get up and head to Sydney at 04:00

Clean and tidy, presented well for an old building.

Parking was a challenge as there was only 1 parking spot per unit, even though I confirmed for 2 cars. Ended up being ok but just had to park a fair way from our unit.

The room was good, comfortable and clean.

I had a staff issue. I was looking for a place to stay one night on Ballina. The Heritage Inn seemed to be what I wanted. I got a confirmation from booking.com which said that the reception was open until midnight. this turned out to not be true. I had to call several times to raise someone. The person seemed annoyed that I called. They directed me to the lock box and tried to tell me the number, but struggled to get the message over clearly. I did wonder if she was drunk. I was told that I was very rude. When I finally got the key, she hung up the phone. If I were the owner of this business, I would try calling the number in the evening - with a handkerchief over the mouthpiece. I think they might be surprised. A shame really, as the room itself was perfectly good.
