Strathfield Hotel

Great location and value. It's a beautiful old building, very clean and comfortable. I was a little concerned about the shared bathroom when booking but they were always clean, the house keeping staff do a great job. Staff were always friendly and polite. I've stayed multiple times and will definitely return in the future. As mentioned above, the location is great being just across from Strathfield station which provides frequent and easy access to the city.

The walls and doors do little to keep out the noise of the other guests and doors opening/shutting.

Great location and awesome atmosphere, staff were amazing, and the room was perfect

Great location, train station being across the road came in clutch, beds and linen were good quality

Halfways reeked of cigarette smoke, air cons we’re fairly ineffective at cooling down the room, had to jam a towel to hold the window open so we didn’t get cooked. Toilet also didn’t flush and the broken toilet on the top floor

The room was nice and the bed very comfy, a bit noisy around closing time but to be expected. The location is brilliant, close to trains and buses.
