Loft - HI Eco Hostel

Nice jazz playing in the lounge area during the day and a small deck outside of the kitchen area. My room was private and closed off, so it was quiet.

Too crazy at night in the city center where it is located. I did not expect a rowdy crowd on a Tuesday night when just trying to grab groceries. 24 hours staffing not available and if in an emergency you have to step outside to call the emergency number, not that great of an idea to step outside late at night.

Bang on middle of the main street. Reasonably priced good value for money.

The room was very small for a private suite

The sheets were ready and it was nice there were codes to get into the rooms. The location was super central which was great - and also loud on a Friday and Saturday night.

There wasn't a lot of space to put luggage and the lockers were small. Also, I was promised an all female room and it seems like the male partner of one of the guests stayed the night in the room. There wasn't enough space to put luggage up on top of stuff and the beds were so hi- I felt like I was going to fall every time I had to climb down from the upper bunk. It wasn't clear the codes wouldn't work outside of regular hours to get in and out of the building when I took an early morning walk. The bathrooms were kinda dirty with hair in the drains. The women in my room were arguing about when quiet hours were and it made the space uncomfortable.
