ODDSSON Downtown Hotel

I have nothing but great things to say about this hotel. The location is excellent, and the entire experience from arrival to departure was smooth and enjoyable. Check-in was quick and easy, and the hotel sends a detailed email about 48 hours before arrival with all the information you need, making the process completely hassle-free. The room was very clean, tidy, and well-designed. While it wasn’t huge, it was comfortable and had everything needed for a pleasant stay. The small kitchenette is compact but functional, with enough space and equipment to prepare something light. The bathroom was one of the highlights — it was spacious, beautifully designed, and very tastefully decorated. The shower was fantastic, with excellent water pressure, and the bed was very comfortable. The only minor downside was that the blinds did not completely block out the outside light. This is something to consider when visiting Iceland during the summer months, as the long daylight hours can make it difficult for some people to sleep and stay asleep. That said, the surrounding area was very quiet, which helped create a relaxing atmosphere. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel and would absolutely stay here again. It was clean, comfortable, well-located, and exceeded my expectations.

Great location, comfortable bed, and well-equipped kitchen. This is our second visit, and we hope to be back again! Thank you

The hotel is very clean and has free parking. It was a great location and walkable to the shops, bakery, and restaurants. It was a great home location as we explore Iceland.

Nice and safe area, walking distance to downtown attractions. Plenty of free parking. Room was clean and neat. Instructions from the facility were clear and easy. Bakery downstairs has good breakfast.
