Clean and tidy

Aircon wasn't working but they moved us to an upgraded room type which was perfect.

We were able to wash our clothes in our room which was really handy. Parked our car at the door, making unloading luggage super easy. And we were given a great recommendation on where to eat for dinner.

Nothing at all about the hotel, it was great, the town itself, is one that travellers could easily miss. Don't get into town early expecting to see or do much once you arrive. The hot springs are the only attraction in town.

The room was very spacious and well equipped, the staff were friendly and helpful and the location was ideal. Would definitely recommend

Beautifully clean, well appointed and comfortable.

Perfunctory greeting/welcome on check in at best. Despite paying more than $300 per night (the most expensive of a 26 day South Island trip, including Queenstown and Wanaka), the room was not serviced. When we raised this with the on site Manager there was no apology - just a "my bad, I forgot". We have stayed at this motel 3 or 4 times previously and suspect that it has changed ownership and/or management - and not for the better!! Will definitely look for other Omarama options for our next visit.
