Distinction Heritage Gateway Hotel

Restaurant was well stocked with plenty to choose from in the buffet, staff were friendly and helpful

Bed was very firm and the shower head was lose - needed to move whole fixture to keep the knob in place for a hot shower

BOOKING DOT COM MADE ERROR BOOKING TWO DAYS AHEAD STAFF AT HOTEL GAVE US A ROOM ANYWAYS.

Compact but very comfortable unit.

The location, the view, breakfast was good and the staff were lovely

We specifically booked a room with a bath but got allocated a different room. Went to staff and were apologetic with the mix up and it was rectified as good as can be for us. Upon entering the room it was very musty smelling, windows have hand marks all over it, next to the toilet on the wall was markings of god knows what, the mugs were dusty and one was full of dust and water and the heater was good but no way to turn down the fan so was very loud. Room could have done with a microwave too but other than was good
