How friendly and helpful the manager was. The beds were comfortable and clean. The atmosphere was great and such a cosy old fashioned pub . We loved it and they welcome pets too
the tv did not work not that we needed it . Just a small ask the breakfast chap who served us could have been a bit more cheerful

Lovely old pub, excellent food and good price for overnight stay with breakfast included.
The rooms were clean but could do with a bit of updating.

Lovely big room and the bed was extremely comfortable.
It's worth considering that this is a very old pub and the walls are very thin! Not the pub's fault but we were kept awake a lot of the night by the snoring and coughing of the man in the next room. I'll travel with ear plugs in future.
Breakfast on Sunday finishes at 9.30am which may be a bit early for a Sunday? Anyway, didn't make it to breakfast after the interrupted night. Chose sleep instead after the man in the next room had woken up and stopped snoring!
