GuestHouse LILIA &Wine Celler

It was close to the center, but still very quiet. A lovely deck on the back of the house overlooking the garden with fruit trees, and birds, and some cats wandering around. Very peaceful! The bed and pillow were comfortable – the room was small but had everything I needed. Lilia, the host, is lovely There was a small issue with the first room that I was in, but Lilia moved me right away to another room, which was greatly appreciated! She was available to answer my questions and we had some great conversations. She also arranged for a driver/fantastic tour guide to take me around to all of the sites in the valley. And I was driven in style in a 1975 Volga, which was so much fun. I had a lovely stay here.

It is an older home so there are some quirks. But in some ways, it just added to its charm!

Everything was great! Nice big room, comfortable beds. Lilia made us delicious pancakes the first morning and we tried her husband's wine. Good location. She also set up a winery tour for us.

Lilia was such a lovely host! She really made our stay one of our most memorable experiences in our 2 weeks in Georgia. She gifted us a bottle of her delicious homemade natural wine, made us pancakes for breakfast one morning, and helped us arrange a driver to explore Telavi. The room itself was very spacious and comfortable. We also loved having our coffee on the balcony that over looks the backyard.

Lilia is a very welcoming and friendly host. She offered me wine when I arrived and she made delicious pancakes for me in the morning. The house was clean and she allowed me to park my car inside!
